Directions

For a rich, robust cup of tea, steep 1 tea bag in 8 ounces of boiling water for 4 to 6 minutes. For a special treat, add sweetener and milk or cream. Or try your tea iced. Pour 4 ounces of boiling water over 2 tea bags. Steep for 4 minutes. Sweeten if desired, then pour over a tall glass of ice. Top with milk and indulge.

I absolutely love this tea!! I haven't been able to find it in any of my health food shops that I go to not sure why they stopped selling it! It's got such an amazing flavour its naturally sweet and has a beautiful warmth ! a bit on the pricey side but worth it if you ask me great on cold winter morning!!

The Amor Belhom Duo are likely the only musicians to relocate from France to Tuscon, Arizona. Not that there's anything wrong with that. In Tuscon, they've hooked up with Joey Burns and John Convertino (the braintrust of the amazing Calexico), both of whom guest on Wavelab Performance. There is much about this album that reminds of the desert southwest sound perfected by Calexico, and yet there sneaks in a hint of Euro-ness that makes their sound unique. The guitars can offer fuzztones and feedback while the drums pound frenetically, and yet there isn't the sense that the music is directionless. The vocals are spare and the lyrics won't likely win any poetry contests, but in this context, they work. This may not be the kind of music that stays in the cd player for weeks on end, but it is a refreshing change of pace.
And if nothing else, it hints at what may come from the forthcoming formal Calexico/Amor Belhom Duo collaboration entitled "Tete A Tete". That should be one interesting release.

I love chai tea, but most have caffeine which i try to avoid in tea, i like to take tea and relax. This is very similar to chai, and is quick to make, cheap, and so flavorful. A bit of sugar + milk = yummy

This is THE herb tea in all creation for this inveterate coffee drinker! In fact it's the only tea product I consume, though admittedly it is not always easy to find a retail outlet outside metropolitan areas (Walmart supposedly stocks it.)
Don't know whose genius created the blend but my oh my, when stirred with almost-black buckwheat honey, it gives rise to the nearest thing to heaven on earth. Recommended most highly for all those who enjoy deeply comforting, fragrant, sweet-spiciness in a cup on a chilly grey day!

It's my recipient's favorite. However, I sent it expedited handling and it took from Monday to Friday to arrive. The cookbook, Cooking With Tea, which was to accompany the Bengal Spice Tea, arrived in about 10 days and had to be forwarded from California to Oregon as the recipient had already returned. It wasn't the tea, it was the s & h that was disappointing.

I have tried many types of Chai, and this is my favorite. The dates add enough sweet that I don't add sugar. I even drink it without milk. It does have a strong flavor profile but not bitter or overly spicy. This is an excellent replacement for black tea Chai.
