Answer: I usually use a tea press

Does this have a strong lemon flavor? i am a big fan of english or irish breakfast teas and am looking for a good decaf alternative but no add-on

Answer: It is an unadulterated black tea with no lemon or other flavors. I find it a bit milder than English or Irish Breakfast tea.

I bought this tea as my after dinner/evening tea. I love loose leaf tea, it has the best flavors but I had difficulty finding just plain, black tea that is loose leaf and decaf for me to drink in the evenings. This tea fit the bill perfectly. It has a nice rich flavor that doesn't over power anything I may have for dessert. I am on my 4th or 5th canister and I plan to keep buying it as long as it is available!

Wanted something I can have in the evening which would still let me sleep. Wow this tea is so bad... I have filtered water and a fancy kettle where you can dial in the temp. Steeped for 5min as per instructions.
Tasted like water. Tried another with milk. Cup looks like I just poured milk into it and also had no taste. Bad batch or not, what I got should never be sold.

I have ordered this tea many times but this is the way it arrived this time. It was damaged when packaged because the shipping box was not damaged. I cannot use the tea because the lid will not come off. I contacted the seller and heard nothing back and you cannot return or replace. So I will NOT be buying this tea again!

I think they did a really great job with this decaf. I don't think decaf can ever come close to the real thing. I tried this straight up and it is OK. However, I folded on the pure decaf route and added my favorite caffeinated black tea. That is really a good thing. I still get the caffeine buzz I was trying to avoid but at least it is mitigated a bit. Anyway, 5 stars for effort on this tea for those of us who really should be drinking decaf. The laws of nature take away 1 star for flavor because of the decaf process.

Decaf tea will always be a bit bland, but this brand & product are far less bland than the other major brands I have tried. It also looks more like a quality tea than the other major brands. It's not great tea, but it's great decaf.

Our pet starling needed tannin added to her diet, but she didn't need caffeine. A little decaf black tea blended into her food (dry), does the trick. Just what the veterinarian ordered. High tea!

I do prefer smaller tea leaves but otherwise this tea is excellent, it tastes like regular tea which is a good feature for decaf. tea and it is quite strong which I like because you can use less.

Wanted to like this, but me and my wife, a Chemical Engineer, found it utterly bland and close to tasteless. We found better, at a fraction of the price, in our local Russian deli in the Bronx.

Buy this for my wife, she is not a tea drinker but she loves this tea. This is my second tin. Not a big decaf tea drinker myself, so I've only had it a couple of times, it is very smooth and aromatic. Nice box. Tea, not so much. Although pretty much full leaf, it doesn't taste almost at all. Like anything. Blandest tea I ever had. And yes, I do drink decaf regularly. Guess I'll go back to the broken leaf but good flavor one that starts with T and ends in aylor's.
