Answer: No, you do not need to refrigerate the product after opening.

Answer: No. Just reread the label and don't see anything about refrigerating it. I only buy the Monon passion fruit to make Zombie mixed drinks.

What material is the bottle made of?

Answer: The bottle is glass. Sidebar while I love these products this flavor had a weird aftertaste that I didn’t enjoy.

Answer: I ordered this quite some time ago and it was glass. I don't know if this is still sold that way now.

What is the shelf life of an opened bottle of Monin syrup?

Answer: I used several bottles of different Monin syrup. The passion fruit is so good It usually doesn't hang around long. I gave a bottle to my daughter in April. She doesn't use it much, but I made a drink with it just yesterday and it tasted as good as ever. Hope this helps. YMMV

Answer: I could never keep an opened bottle very long because it makes the best hurricane there is.

Not authenic passion fruit and very sweet.

Nothing wrong with the product with regards to delivery or packaging but threw it out because it led to rapid heart rate and abnormal heart rhythm. Found out later this is one side effect of passion fruit.

I bought this to make mai tais since it seemed to be the best price for the volume. The syrup has a truly terrible taste - like thick cough syrup. I dumped it all out and filled the bottle with a homemade syrup that tasted a million times better. Try a different brand or make your own!

I read the bad reviews but decided to try it anyway since I usually do like Monin syrups. Unfortunately it wasn't great and tasted a little too artificial (not much like passionfruit at all!) I've been mixing it with extra strong tea to mask the strong synthetic taste and it is a lot better but I don't really recommend this product.

This tastes nothing like passionfruit. I was really disappointed because all the reviews said it was really good, but it tasted like syrup made with straight fake sugar. I bought this syrup specifically for making a passionfruit flavored wheat beer, similar to a commercial seasonal brew that I love from a Hawaiian microbrewery. I used 100ml of the syrup in a 5-gal standard homebrew keg, and that might even have been too much! But the combination of the slight passionfruit flavor combined with the light, crisp flavor of a good wheat ale base was a real hit last summer at a local beer tasting event that I brought it to! Try it yourself!

This stuff is awesome!! It came in a very nice glass bottle and only has 5 ingredients, pure sugar cane, water, citric acid, natural flavors and beta carotine for color. Its not quite as sour as a real passion fruit but it has a great flavor. We have been adding it to goses an berliner weiss to add a little bit more flavor. My wife has also used it in baking, she made strawberry shortcake and added it to the shortcake batter for a little tast of something different! It was amazing!

Real passion fruits in the grocery are very expensive ($4 each). On a whim, I bought and tried one. Ugly, messy, and delicious. Couldn't afford to make enough of the stuff for drinks, so I ordered Monin. Good, very good. Not as good as fresh, but what is? It's concentrated so the trick is to get the right water to syrup blend. When you do, you'll make great tropical cocktails as well as delicious children's drinks.

I ordered this as a cheaper alternative to the Liber&Co Passionfruit syrup. It served its purpose as a mixer but the fruit flavor is very diluted, mostly sugar. I'm going back to ordering the Liber and Company since the passionfruit flavor is much stronger.

Tasted a lot more like peach than like passionfruit... and I've eaten fresh passionfruit as well as passionfruit juice, ice cream, yogurt. This stuff didn't taste bad, just not like passionfruit. Also, it was a gift for my dad, and he didn't have much to say about it. I will say that the packaging was excellent though. I would not be concerned about the bottle breaking from normal shipping wear and tear.

This the worst I've ever tried. I have a soda stream so I've tried a lot. Their pistachio is fantastic! But the passion fruit tastes exactly like generic flavor sour powder candy. It has that distinctive citric acid taste that OVERWHELMS the drink. No passionfruit flavor AT ALL, not even close, not even a hint. I live in Hawai'i where we pick them off the vines everywhere, I know what lilikoi taste like. I could not drink my drink and it made me SICK, burning in my gut. If you want generic unidentifiable flavored citric acid, get it cheaper it the bulk supplements. Pistachio=9 out of 10, Passionfruit=-10 out of 10.
