This is a superlative spiced tea. It's black tea with cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, orange peel, anise & natural flavor, all of which are organic. It does NOT have black pepper, like some chai teas, which leaves it smooth, rich, spicy but NOT biting or acrid. Sometimes I blend it with Earl Grey. Anise is a favorite for me, so this tea is especially lovely.
