I am looking for a substitute for the discontinued trader joe mango tea...is this comparable?

Answer: That was exactly my situation! I tried many mango teas after Trader Joe discontinued theirs, and Republic of Tea is the closest I have found. Most of the others were either too tart or not flavorful enough. Republic of Tea Mango Ceylon is just right; not exactly the same but close enough. Now, I wonder whether, if Trader Joe brought back its mango tea, would I prefer Republic of Tea? I would love to do a taste test :)

I had this at a Bed and Breakfast and fell in love. So I ordered the 50-pack tin and a 250-pack refill bag as I dring several large cups a day at work. I don't know what to say, if it is the tea, or it is me, but some brewings are as wonderful as the first cup I had, and others seem to be nothing more than slightly colored water. The inconsistency is very disturbing, and even when I tried adding an extra packet or two it is not enough. So, I don't know what to think, I just wish it had a more consistent strength and taste. I guess I will have to look eslewhere for a Mango tea, because that was the flavor that hooked me. I always use the same water, same size cup, same brewing time, etc., so I don't know why the quality varies so much. I guess overall it was a disappointment from such a highly-recommended brand.
