Is it only one box of tea bags for the price of $14.xx? That does seem pretty high for 16 tea bags!

where is this made?

Answer: The box says Certified Organic by GAI Product of Canada

Are the tea bags wrapped in foil lined pouches?

Answer: No the tea bags are not lined with tin foil. They are well wrapped and sealed. I do not know exactly what the material is, it looks like some sort of plastic and feels wax like on the inside.

Answer: I haven't opened a pouch but from the outside it appears to be a coated paper pouch.

In 2005 I saw this tea in a health food store, bought it and tried it when a cold was starting up. I was amazed at how much better I felt after drinking it. It works best for me when I feel a cold coming on and it DOES stop it! I order it from Amazon now because no health food stores have it in the small town where I live.
Also sometimes when I feel a cold coming on, I go to a Chinese restaurant and get spicy sweet and sour soup and it helps clear up a head cold.
