So if you put this is a kcup pod, it's pointless but should work. What can it hurt to try it once?

Answer: No. This is made with turbinado sugar. I don't know if that's the reason it is nearly sickly sweet, tho. Think of this as Apple koolaid and what we had in Turkey, a drink made with granny Smith type Apple's. Still sweet enough, but a wonderfully tanginess. Also in Turkey, the mix is a VERY FINE powder.

The apple tea is delicious and easy to make. What I didn't like was the packaging. The tin had a plastic bag inside that was only 1/3 full. When I emptied the bag into the tin it didn't even fill the tin half-way.

Great taste. Just like in Turkey. Only issue is that it yields very little. The tin is literally three, if not four, times the size of the actual amount of tea you get. For $10.49, you should certainly get more than the large handful of tea. The packaging is very misleading. Good thing the tea is delicious!

I was thrilled to find this product for sale outside of Europe and Turkey. I always drank it when I lived in those areas and continue to do so. It's a nice drink to warm you up on cool days. It's slightly more expensive than in Turkey/Europe but it's travelled a long way to get here!
