Really like the taste of this tea. At first, i thought it would be too pepperminty, but turns out i was wrong. I'm glad i purchased this delicious caffeine free tea.

This is my favorite variety of CS tea. It has a refreshing, potent minty aroma and flavor. It's the best remedy for queasiness. Take one to two cups and feel better fast! It's also a great stress reliever after a long day at class or work. I would gladly give this product 5 stars if it were less expensive and if CS made coupons readily available. But I will keep buying this product anyway because I've tried other brands of tea and they just can't compare.

I'm surprised people say that this is their all-time favorite peppermint tea...to me, it's just alright.

It is certainly pepperminty, and very strong. I think that's why I dislike it, because you can not leave this in your cup after 2 or 3 minutes, it will be too strong for my taste. I prefer light, pepperminty freshness and I get that from Twinings.

Peppermint is an herb that has many uses in traditional herbal medicine. It is reputed to relax the muscles of the digestive system which helps relieve nausea. Peppermint combats flatulence, promotes bile flow and digestive juices, and has a mildly anesthetic effect which also eases indigestion. It is supposed to relieve anxiety and tension, soothe headaches and calm symptoms associated with the menstrual cycle.

Celestial Seasonings gets extra points for their packaging: they utilize 100% natural recycled paperboard in their boxes and they don't package each tea bag individually. Instead they use a system of a waxed paper bag inside the box that stays shut when you fold it. It keeps the bags fresh and utilizes less packaging than individually wrapping each bag. no doubt this product will taste good. the reason I purchased this online is bc I cannot find celestial seasonings bulk like this anywhere only in the sampler pack. but 6 days guys really? mailing through usps would've been faster than UPS apparently. its been 2 days stuck in Roanoke VA less than 1 hour away from me. wont be buying from again. talk about snail mail geezus

As a tea lover, I was ecstatic to find a herbal peppermint tea on the cheaper end of the spectrum. Normally, I stay as far away from 'cheaper' tea as possible, but I was glad to give this product a shot. I love the taste of peppermint. I think it is one of those flavors that is versatile, as far as weather goes. It is good for the cold winter. And the cool, crisp freshness of it is perfect for the hot summer months.

I am not a hot tea drinker, probably because I grew up in the South. But for those who do live in the North, where it is cold, snowy, and icy, I think the taste of hot peppermint tea would go perfect with that type of weather. I've never really had a really bad winter, but if it ever gets too cold, I might try this peppermint tea as the hot version.

I am definitely a cold tea drinker. On a hot summer day, cold peppermint tea is refreshing and just perfect.

But regardless of the weather or season, Celestial Seasonings Peppermint tea is wonderful, perfect, and right for me.

Oh, and did I mention the cornbread? For some reason, to me, cornbread and iced tea go together. It doesn't matter to me what flavor of tea it is (or if it is regular tea with no flavor). But since this review is for the peppermint tea, I will mention that I love, love, love peppermint tea and cornbread.

I definitely drink this tea unsweetened.

Once when I was with my last child, I craved the taste of mint so badly, I went to the store and bought one of each of the bags of mints they had. I got peppermints (the red ones), spearmints (the green ones), and wintermints (the blue ones) - (I think I got all the colors and names right). I got soft ones, hard ones, powdery ones.

I'm not with child anymore, but sometimes I still get mint cravings. This peppermint tea cures those cravings.

PaulM : A Visit to the Peppermint Room

Several years ago, I went on a tour of the Celestial Seasonings tea factory in Boulder, Colorado. The guide showed us the bales of tea as they arrived, machines that ground and mixed the tea, and a machine that put the tea in tea bags. The tour included a visit to the room where the peppermint tea was stored. Our guide told us that peppermint was stored separately so that it would not contaminate the other teas. He did not tell us what was to come.

The doorway into the peppermint room was surrounded by bright red stripes. This should have served as a warning to us. We all innocently strolled into the peppermint room. The smell of peppermint was overpowering. It entered my nose, my head, my lungs, and then my whole being was infused with peppermint. What a rush! The crowd stampeded out of the room in a hurry. For the rest of the day and into the next, all I could smell and taste was the mint.

I am now addicted to . Every time I have some, I am reminded of that fateful day in Boulder. The events of that day have changed my life forever. Amazingly, the tea is still legal, openly sold in stores and on the Internet. I think that the tea is great, but then again I am not an unbiased observer. On your next visit to Boulder, take the tour. Or go a safer route; buy the tea from Amazon.
