Answer: Chamomile is an herb that has soothing properties. Usually tea that is labeled "chamomile" contains only that herb. Nighty Night and Cup of Calm are blended with chamomile and other calming/soothing herbs. (None contain caffeine.) Cup of Calm is my favorite in the category; it is soft, soothing, with a balance that's lovely.
Answer: I am not familiar with nighty night but cup of calm has a sweet spiciness that plain chamomile doesn't have. We love it!

Tastes ok, but contains licorice which elevates blood pressure. Personally, I don’t find that sensation so relaxing...

I really love this mood-boosting tea, and I drink it every day, that's why I ordered such a large quantity ( six boxes). Unfortunately, on almost every tea bag the staple that holds the string on has been put on improperly and the tea bag opens up when you pour the water in. So I've had to manually tie the teabag shut almost every time. I've also had this same problem with other batches of this same tea.

This tea is an awesome blend that has a soothing and refreshing taste that relaxes me as soon as I breathe it in. I drink a cup before bed nearly every night and occasionally on a difficult afternoon at work - it is so amazing. I used to find this tea in the various stores that carry Traditional Medicinal teas but many no longer stock this one. I was very pleased to be able to find this great deal.

I've tried so many herbs that have ascribed health benefits, but wasted so much money trying to find that "special one" with "comparable effects to medication", and just to let you know the majority of herbs as we know them will always never replace prescriptions in their consumable strength, especially as a tea. There are few herbs out there with remarkable benefits for certain people.
This "Cup of Sunshine" is no exception, and while it's not here to be a miracle cure, it is definitely the most easy-drinking tea that brings both gentle and potent (non-intoxicating) but immediate noticable effects that I can't rely on many other teas for. It's not the best smell and taste since it is a fermented plant, but it's very floral and sweet on the palate, and of course this varies with batches, since my most recent purchase tasted the best. As for the effects, after drinking, there's this immediate weight lift from me, like the room became calmer and lighter, or just a more natural relaxed feeling, and there's more positive vibes around with this sort of "cleaner air" sensation, and I've only ever felt close to this after drinking Passionflower tea, but that only ever works with one cup, and never again the next day until I wait a long time before drinking another cup. This herb is really good and I think while it's flavor is rather light and sweet, it's a great go-to tea just for wanting an instant kick to feel naturally just good, and a sense of well-being right away.
This is my favorite Traditional Medicinals product so far. I recommend giving it a try. If you don't like it, you got 5 more boxes to pass around to friends and family.

Love love love this tea. I have dealt with clinical anxiety for my entire adult life. I have learned how to use meditation to combat anxiety, but sometimes you need a little help from an outside source and this tea really does me a lot of good without making me sleepy. Just less on edge. Helps to keep that rat off the wheel in my head... And it tastes very good with a little honey. Glad I bought multiple boxes.
