how the bacteria in the kombucha tea does not die with the hot water?
Answer: IT is marketing only (Kombucha part anyway) I brew Kombucha and even when you start...if the water is too hot (as in brewing temp) it will kill the culture. You have to cool your starting batch (to an optimal 75-80 degrees) before introducing the Kombucha culture or mother. I am sure the rest of the ingredients have antioxidant and other values so it is not all bad but Kombucha is a cold tea, room temp at best.

There's this other stuff called senna tea that also flushes you out - more powerfully than kombucha. Maybe they put something else in this kambucha tea that does the trick?

I never thought I would give up coffee, but after having this tea, I don't even "crave" coffee like I used to. This has a wonderful mild but substantial flavor, with just enough caffeine to get me going in the morning, but it does not give me the "jitters".

I've been buying the Yogi Green Tea Kombucha at the health food store until I found this at Amazon. I ordered the box of 6 and saved a lot of money over the cost of the individual box from my local store.
I make this tea contra to the package directions. I use one tea bag and a quart jar filled with almost boiling water to make this into an iced tea. I sweeten with Agave Light. This is a very refreshing and yummy drink to me.
I also drink this unsweetened as a hot tea or iced tea too.

I am so addicted to this tea! I have repurchased it a few times now, and I prefer to buy it on Amazon since it's a bit cheaper when you buy the 6 boxes in bulk. I haven't met a single person who hasn't enjoyed the Yogi Kombucha. It's not overpowering, but is refreshing and is delicous hot or iced. It has a bit of caffeine in it but I can drink 2-3 cups a day without getting too jittery or sleepless (I'm not a coffee drinker). I love how it doesn't have the bitterness that some green teas have. I'll buy this product over and over again--I hope they come out with some other flavors!

After I read the reviews I was sceptical and curious. When it arrived I tore open the box and put on some boiling water to try. I thought it to smell odd. Then I tasted it! What a pleasant surprize!!!! I LOVE this stuff! I really do believe that this is the best that Yogi has. I am sharing it with my family so that they can benifit from this amazing tea. I have put this one on my subcription. I have to drink this everyday, it makes me feel good all over and on the inside, since I have gastric problems.I don't even need to take my Nexium anymore! Thanks Amazon and Yogi for offering this wonderful brew!

Great taste, doesn't need to be brewed, just allow to seep for 1 minute. I pour hot boiling water in my mug. I don't even use sugar because the natural flavor is very full and I think sugar or sweetener would ruin it. Smells wonderful too, has a soft citrus type aroma. Better than than basic boring green tea.

This is my favorite tea! I am drinking it now! I was happy to find it in a multipack, because I have been having trouble finding it at the store. It has a lovely minty flavor that isn't over powering. I like to add honey and lemon to it. I drink it hot and cold. The tags have little sayings on them, which is a bonus pick me up during the day.

I am not a huge fan of green tea because some of them taste like fresh cut grass smells. But not this tea, it is sweet and mellow. I swear by this tea. I used to be sick all the time I started drinking a glass of this daily and have not caught any of the office colds that everyone else is getting. I have been using this tea for a year!

I love this tea because it tastes good with a squeeze of lemon in it - I don't boil the water because I don't want to destroy any of the good "stuff" in here - the smell is pleasant - the tea is very relaxing. For those of you who have constipation problems. I drink it of an evening and first thing in the morning I do not have a problem with that. I buy it on Amazon as it is $4 a box at store and buying bulk here is an excellent deal
