This is an all-natural process, free of toxic chemicals, that removes the caffeine from the tea without removing the other botanical compounds. Compared to other brands of organic decaf green tea and organic black decaf teas, this Yogi organic decaf green tea has a better, more "alive" flavor and feel. It's the only one I buy. I also like that the bags are packaged in paper packets instead of foil packets, because it's more earth-friendly and because of the growing questions about aluminum's possible contribution to Alzheimer's.

I love this tea in both decaf and caffeinated forms. It's got a hearty feeling to it and tastes good with or without sweeteners. In addition to good tasting tea, each tea bag contains a little bit of instruction or inspiration to start (or end) your day. I'm not always sure what the sayings mean (e.g., "Open yourself to infinity. Be infinity.") but they're fun, even if put together by a random word generator. Some Yogi teas are available in supermarkets, but there is a wider variety than can usually be found there, so I go to Amazon and get it delivered. If you like green tea, I recommend this.
