What is this tea from? Is it from China?

Answer: I looked on my individual packets and it does not say where it is from and I threw away the box. The tea is from ginger and it has the hot tingy taste of ginger.

Answer: The Ginger drink has ginger, glucose, sucrose, honey and fructose. That is, ginger and sugar. The Ginger Lemon drink also has lemon.

Answer: this company sells at least 2 different versions of this granular ginger 'tea'. i have bought it sweetened w/ honey and sweetened w/ sugar. The latter has a far superior flavor of ginger. The former, w/ honey, tastes saw-dusty ginger.

Sucrose is a disaccharide also known as white sugar, table sugar, among other terms; fructose is a monosaccharide that bonds to glucose to form sucrose. I have no idea of the quantities or formulation of these ingredients in the Gold Kili All Natural Ginger Drink.

Answer: I didn't see on the package where there is a daily limit to how many packets you can drink. I usually drink 2 packets a day, one in the morning and one in late afternoon. The package also doesn't list how much ginger is in each packet, but it's not overpowering. The ginger drink is very good and very refreshing if you add ice.

The main ingredients are ginger & honey, but unless you LOVE - <3 <3 <3 ginger, these packets are tastier as an *ingredient* in a beverage than they are as a straight drink mix. Also: 73 kilocalories a packet (see pic of ingredients listing). Individual packets of course don't re-seal, but it is easier on the palate to shake a bit into a beverage to see how much is *too* much, before you toss a packet into a cup of tea. As I use it, this stuff is a convenient, affordable way to add some healthy ginger & honey to iced & hot herbal teas. Adjust sweetening agents accordingly to avoid aftertaste.

I love this stuff, especially when I’m not feeling well. It is strong, I only use about 1.5 tsp per 8oz of liquid. I can get about 3 servings out on one packet. If my throat is really sore I will use one whole packet with 16 ounces of liquid. Sometimes I put it in hot tea and sometimes just hot water, either way it’s great. You have to like ginger! If you don’t then this is not for you
