How is this both a ceylon tea (inherently from sri lanka) and a loose kalami tea, which is from assam? label makes me wonder.

Answer: It is not an Assam. The box says 100% Ceylon tea, and I can verify this as I've bought it four times now.

Answer: I don't know the answer- but we have used this tea through several label changes over the years. It is a basic tea and as we drink a lot of tea, we find it acceptable for everyday use.

How does the Kalmi version differ from Royal World's Earl Grey Tea?

Answer: Compared to other Earl Grey's I've had, this Royal World's Earl Grey Tea tastes more of orange and lacks the smokey flavor of other blends. It was disappointing to me, a big fan of 'most' Earl Grey blends.
