Brewing: To savor the full flavor of our teas, bring fresh water to a rolling boil. Pour hot water directly over the tea bag in a pre-heated pot or cup. Brew 3-5 minutes or to desired taste. One tea bag makes 8 ounces of hot tea. For iced tea, brew double strength.

Do your tea bags contain plastic?

Answer: Thank you for your question! Stash Tea uses filter paper made of 100% cellulose fibers. No plastics are added to the paper and no chemicals are used on the paper. Stash teabag filter paper is machine folded and pressed therefore no glue is needed or used and thermoplastics are not used. We do offer a couple of organic certified Chai options: Organic Chai Spice, Organic Gold Cup Chai, and Organic Rainforest Chai, which are all available on Amazon in the 100 count tea bag configuration. Answer: It doesn't state organic in the description. The teabags didn't come in a sealed STASH box with the company and product info on it, like if you bought it in the store. The teabags came loose in a cardboard shipping box. You should contact STASH direct with your question.

Answer: There isn't anything on the ingredient list for the bag, just what is in the bag. I can't give you a 100% accurate answer. Maybe stick with loose leaf.

Answer: Thank you for your question! Stash Tea does not measure the caffeine content of our teas at this time, so we cannot provide details for this tea besides that it is decaffeinated. Our decaf teas contain trace amounts of caffeine, as the decaffeination method does not actually remove ALL caffeine, but our suppliers provide testing results demonstrating that no more than 0.4% caffeine remains per labeling regulations. Answer: No appreciable caffeine is in this tea. I love caffeine, but am quite susceptible to it, and can't drink it after 6pm. I can drink two cups of this tea with no effect whatsoever.

Answer: It says it's Decaf. No amount of caffeine is listed. It's possible for decaf to still have trace amounts of caffeine. I'd contact Stash direct if it's a medical issue, just to be safe.

I had exactly one bag of this from some sampler I got ages ago and I made it for my husband at night. He was blown away so I had to get more! Brew this with a splash of almond milk and a tsp of brown sugar for a decadent nighttime cuppa. You will not be disappointed!!

Please note, this came in a box with 6 individual boxes of tea. These individual boxes were sealed but not cellophane wrapped (basically how you'd see this brand in a grocery store).

Such good flavor. Doesn't taste artificial. I love to make a cup or two in the evening when I have food cravings but really should not snack. This tea is so flavorful it makes me feel like I'm having a treat but there's no calories. I had bought 1 box at a grocery store but it may have been while I was traveling because I could not find it again. I was bummed because I love the flavor. I gave in and bought the 6-box package on Amazon in my subscribe and save so I will not run out. The tea boxes came in a larger cardboard box so I just took out 1 tea box and put the rest in my cabinet.
Each tea bag is individually wrapped so you can take on the go, but not good if you're worried about extra packaging.

Whoa. This tea is amazing I have been on a Chai tea binge over the past couple of months, trying Stash, Bigelow, Good Earth, and other brands. Stash has by far the best balance of spices; the cinnamon is perfectly balanced against the clove. I love combining a bag of Vanilla Chai with a bag of the Decaf Cha for a large mug of teai; with a drop of cream, it's positively decadent. Delish! Very highly recommended.

Day 1 review: I am used to Bigelow Vanilla Chai. Decided to try this based on reviews. Taste is faint. More cinnamon and far less vanilla flavor than Bigelow. As others have mentioned these packs are seconds that Stash didn't want to sell in regular boxes. Back to my Bigelow.

My husband loves this tea so much that I had to order it in bulk from Amazon. This was the first chai he tasted (he's making a cup even as we speak - LOL) and others he's tried don't hold a candle to Stash's version, according to him. He's not much of a tea drinker (think Gatorade) aside from the occasional cup of Earl Grey but he's totally into this. Likes that it leaves a pleasant taste in your mouth rather than a nasty aftertaste like some other brands do. So if you're into vanilla chai, give this one a try.
