Product Description
Our Stash Lemon Ginger is an interesting blend of ginger root, lemongrass, lemon flavor, safflower, hibiscus and citric acid.
About the Brand
The Stash Tea Company is headquartered in Tigard, Oregon, a suburb of Portland. Founded in 1972, Stash Tea originally operated out of an old Portland Victorian style house, supplying loose herbal teas and bulk herbs to natural food stores. Starting in 1975, the company broadened its focus to include bagged teas and then began to sell a full line of traditional, specialty blend and herbal teas directly to fine restaurants and through a mail-order catalog to consumers. Today, Stash Tea is enjoying steady growth and has become one of the largest specialty tea companies in the United States, with products available through foodservice, grocery stores, tea and coffee shops, club stores, mass merchandisers, natural foods stores, mail order, and the Internet. Stash Tea is also available in Canada and in several foreign countries.
The company derives its name from an entertaining aspect of tea folklore. In earlier centuries, tea was a valuable commodity traditionally transported by clipper ship. The ship's captain often was presented with some of the finest teas for his personal use. This supply was his "stash," stowed carefully as his "private reserve." Today, the term still is used to denote anything put away carefully because of its preciousness.

Questions about Stash Tea Lemon Ginger Herbal Tea, 6 Boxes of 20 Tea Bags Each (120 Tea Bags Total)
Q:
How strong is the Lemon Ginger flavor? Looking for a tea that is very strong for my mom as the ones she has been buying has almost no taste.
Answer: This tea is not strong...it has an amazingly noticeable flavor, but not ???? knock out strong...good for people who you want to introduce to herbal teas as it is flavorful but not overpowering....when buying this, I always shaving a little ginger into the cup before adding the water to give more ginger kick
Answer: I love this tea. I make it in a 12 oz cup before I want it and let it "steep". The longer you can wait for it, the more pronounced the flavor. Brewed in a teacup, the ginger flavor has a "bite". Adjust to your liking.
Answer: I always use 2 teabags, good sized mug, but not a giant one. I find that 2 bags gets the best flavor. This is a year-round favorite of mine.
Answer: It's very fragrant and strong. A great blend very tasty and the ginger is felt in the throat
Q:
Should i be concerned that the tea arrived loose in a box and the packaging has english and spanish titles? counterfeit?
Answer: Thank you for taking the time to share your concern with us. Our 100 count boxes are shipped with the envelops of tea in a plastic liner, loose, inside the carton. We also use bilingual packaging in order to service our Canadian customers. But that language should be in French, not Spanish. If the package you received is indeed in Spanish, please reach out to Amazon directly to notify them of this warehousing/shipping issue. If you have any other questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact us directly at amazon-response@stashtea.com.
Answer: The packaging came perfectly packed no issues. Love the Tea .
Q:
Are the individual packages the tea bags come in recyclable or ccompostable?
Answer: Yes. You can recycle the wrapper and compost the tea bag.
Answer: Recyclable, yes. Compostable, no.
Q:
which stash tea helps with weight loss
Answer: You don’t need sugar as it’s very flavorful. So that saves a few calories..
Q:
I followed the directions on the box and my tea came out so bland. My tea smelled like lemon ginger but didn’t taste like it at all. What should I do?
Answer: Every brand of Lemon Ginger is distinctly different. The Stash lemon Ginger is the only one I like. Is this the first time you have tried the tea? I just simply steep the tea bag in boiling water, I do leave the tea bag in as I am drinking it. Perhaps maybe you water has traces of sulphur or iron, that would affect the taste.
Answer: Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback! We are so sorry you found your cup to be lacking in the delicious lemon & ginger flavor this tea is known for. We recommend brewing this tea in 8 ounces of boiling water (190-210 F) for 3-5 minutes. For a stronger taste you can steep the tea for longer or double up on the tea bags. If you feel that there may have been a problem with this tea, please reach out to us directly at amazon-response@stashtea.com and we would be happy to help further.
Answer: If the product was sold and shipped by Amazon or fulfilled by Amazon, then perhaps you can send it back "postage paid" by/to Amazon with the explanation that the product was not satisfactory. Alternatively, you could double-up on the tea bags (2 bags per cup), or add a twist of lemon and slice of ginger to enhance both flavors. My wife noted that it seemed a bit lighter in flavor than the brick 'n mortar purchases (Ross's, other supermarkets), but not to the point of being unsatisfactory.
Answer: Try using Twinging brand instead. We had the same experience w/Stash
Answer: I add honey or sugar to mine and it tasets great in my opinion
Answer: Try steeping it longer. It can be really peppery if you do.
Q:
Does this tea have actual lemon or does the "lemon flavor" come from something else?
Answer: According to their website it states "Ginger root, lemongrass, natural lemon flavor, hibiscus, citric acid, safflower, natural ginger flavor" hope that helps
Answer: According to the package: Natural ingredients: ginger root, lemongrass, lemon flavor, hibiscus, citric acid, safflower, ginger flavor.
Answer: I don't know but I taste more ginger than lemon. Great taste
Q:
Do tea bags contain any plastic either in the bag material or in the sealant of the bag?
Answer: No
Q:
what is the expiration date on the 1000 count Stash lemon ginger tea bags?
Answer: June 13, 2022
Q:
Is it caffeine free?
Answer: Yes, it is caffeine free. And fabulous - my favorite caffeine-free tea!
Answer: Yes.
Answer: yes
Q:
Why it's auto-delivered every 4 month? I didn't order it again.
Answer: Doctor prescribed omeprazole 2 mg and it has helped my problems with stomach acid.
Q:
what is the difference between this and the organic lemon ginger?
Answer: Not organic tea.
Answer: I believe the difference is using Organic Lemons & Ginger. This tea is delicious just the way it is. My Mom loves it & drinks it all the time. I would think the Organic tea is more expensive. I am not sure but Organic products usually cost a lot more. If you are a tea lover you will love this one. My Mom only drinks tea all different kinds. This is one of her favorites. Hope this answers your question.
Answer: Thank you for your question! Our Stash Premium Lemon Ginger is an herbal, caffeine-free blend of ginger root, lemongrass, natural lemon flavor, hibiscus, citric acid, safflower, and natural ginger flavor. Our Stash Organic Lemon Ginger is an organic certified green tea blend that combines organic ginger, organic green tea and organic lemongrass. If we can help to provide any additional information, please reach out to us directly at amazon-response@stashtea.com and we would be happy to help.
Answer: Sorry, I don't know if there is a difference. All I know is that I have made lemon ginger tea from a scratch recipe and these tea bags taste exactly like what I made! Therefore, I will not bother making it from scratch, but will use these teabags. I am on my second box now.
Answer: Well usually organic means no pesticides used. No difference in taste.
Answer: I have no idea. I just didn't care for it.
Q:
Is this large box of tea bags a better deal than buying the loose leaf tea? Lemon Ginger. ... and do they taste the same? Thanks!
Answer: I know this deal is great if locally you can't get Stash tea. If Stash is available in your local store, you want to wait for a bogo sale. I haven't found a loose leaf tea that compares. They generally put some different ingredience in so it doesn't taste the same. I personally prefer Stash tea and this one is great when sick
Q:
Do these teabags contain any polypropylene? having just watched a plastic ocean i am trying to remove single-use plastic from my daily life.
Answer: The tea bags are packaged in cellophane according to the Stash Tea website. cellophane itself is 100% biodegradable. According to their website the filter paper used for Stash Tea bags is made from 100% cellulose fibers (wood). Test results conclude that chlorine dioxide is not present in our tea bag filter paper. The filter paper is not coated with the compound epichlorohydrin, and does not contain any free epichlorohydrin. Stash tea bag filter paper is machine folded and pressed, therefore no glue is needed or used.
Answer: Thank you for your question! Stash Tea filter paper does not use any polypropylene and is made from 100% cellulose fibers. The filter paper is machine folded and pressed, therefore no glue or thermoplastics are needed or used. There is also no BPA in the structure of our foil-lined envelopes including the inks, lacquer and substrate. If we can provide any additional information, please reach out to us directly at amazon-response@stashtea.com and we would be happy to help.
Answer: They don’t look like they do.
Q:
I last ordered in spring of 2017. It seems things may have changed as far as flavor and ingredients since then. Is this really that different?
Answer: I haven’t ordered recently so I can’t say
Q:
Why do some of the ingredient pics of the Lemon Ginger say Contains Soy and some do not? This is important if someone can't have SOY in their diet
Answer: I see soy not in the ingredients, but afterwards as an allergen warning. This usually means it's made in the same facility as things containing soy - not something that is always disclosed, so they may have recently decided to add it just in case people have severe allergies. Sometimes cross-contamination can occur.
Answer: How strong is the Lemon Ginger flavor? Looking for a tea that is very strong for my mom as the ones she has been buying has almost no taste.
Answer: sorry I cant answer that----all that I have here says 100 organtic tea
Answer: Not a clue Maybe processed in different plants I have no clue. I would err on the side of caution and not drink it if you have soy issues.
Answer: I have never bought this product. I would say the company would be the best place to get that answer
Answer: I would call the company and ask. The seem to be reformulating some of their teas (for the worse). You may be seeing an old picture or description for one of the teas and a newer one for the other. I'd call.
Q:
Wouldn’t have this with caffeine? Would ya? :-(( my fav .,
Answer: Thank you for your feedback! Our Stash Lemon Ginger tea is an herbal tea and does not contain caffeine. However, we do have an Organic Lemon Ginger that a green tea and contains caffeine. You can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/Stash-Tea-Organic-Ginger-packaging/dp/B00E19WEB4/ref=sr_1_2_s_it?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1520964097&sr=1-2&keywords=stash+tea+organic+lemon+ginger
Answer: This is an all herbal tea. No caffeine in it. That would be a black tea, or white or green teas have some caffeine but Ni herbal teas.
Answer: Try Ginger Breakfast Black Tea by Stash. Kick of caffeine with ginger.
Answer: there is no caffeine
Answer: I am just a customer who purchased the tea. You would have to contact the company.
Q:
Is the "lemon flavor" in this tea artificial?
Answer: No its real dried lemon zest which is the most flavorful part of the lemon (because you can't dry the pulp. You will really enjoy it. May i also reccomend their Peach black tea.
Answer: Hi, the lemon flavor is natural.
Q:
Is it sugar free?
Answer: Yes it is sugar free.
Answer: Yes...Ingredients. Ginger root, lemongrass, natural lemon flavor, hibiscus, citric acid, safflower, natural ginger flavor.
Answer: Yes, it is a tea bag that you brew.
Answer: I think so. I didn’t taste any.
Answer: Yes it is. And it's really good.
Answer: Yes
Answer: Yes
Answer: yes
Q:
How many tea bags are in this order? 30 or 180?
Answer: Six boxes with 30 tea bags in each. 180 total. Hope this helps!
Answer: 180. 6 boxes of 30 each
Answer: 180
Q:
How fresh is the tea in a 100 pack, and how fresh is the tea in the 6 pack of boxes? Is there some kind of best by date on these products?
Answer: I bought a 100-pk of the Stash lemon-ginger teabags in Jul. 2018 and the exp. date on the case is Feb. 2021. The teabags (individually wrapped in packets) come loose/bulk in the case, NOT the decorative 20-pk box that you usually find at retail. Judging by the tea's taste/flavor, purchase date, and exp. date, it seems pretty fresh. This was the 2nd time I ordered this tea in bulk from Amazon.
Answer: Thank you for your question. All Stash Teas are produced with a 3-year shelf life. Our teas are packaged in a foil-lined, individually-sealed envelope to help preserve optimum freshness. All products are given a best by date during production. The best by date can be found on the bottom of the individual box and will be in the MMDDYYYY format and followed by an A, B or C. If we can help provide any additional information, please reach out to us directly at amazon-response@stashtea.com and we would be happy to help.
Answer: I went to their website & they list 1 - 2 years depending on the flavor of tea. For taste I prefer "Bigelow" brand, they list the best by date on each box of tea. Hope this helps.
Answer: Not sure, however, the bags individually foil packaged. this is my favorite tea.
Q:
Very concerning that many customers received a fake tea. What is your company doing to avoid us to get fake stuff? should it be your responsibility ?
Answer:
Answer:
Answer: -``````No especially was never requested the fake stuff.
Answer: This is a question that needs to be directed to the producers of this product, not the consumers.
Q:
Does this contain licorice?
Answer: Thank you for your question! Stash Lemon Ginger does NOT contain licorice root but instead is a blend of ginger root, lemongrass, natural lemon flavor, hibiscus, citric acid, safflower, and natural ginger flavor. If we can help provide any additional information, please reach out to us directly at amazon-response@stashtea.com and we would be happy to help.
Answer: None mentioned. Ingredients listed on packaging is as follows: 100% natural ingredients ginger root, lemongrass, lemon flavor, safflower, hibiscus, and citric acid. Hope this helps.
Answer: No it doesn’t.
Answer: No!
Q:
Is this genuine stash brand ? Why brown dykk box and poor packaging and sloppy bags inside??
Answer: Thank you for your question. This is Stash tea. The brown box is our bulk packaging configuration but the tea bags are the same product as the rest of our line. If you have any further questions or concerns, please reach out to us directly at amazon-response@stashtea.com and we would be happy to assist!
Answer: It is the original STASH tea. The tea bags are individually wrapped inside (see little yellow-orange packet on the bottom right side of the photo- leaning against the brown box) and are perfectly fine. Since there are so many teabags the brown box packaging is fine. I have ordered and found the tea to be exactly the same as when it comes in lesser amounts in the smaller STASH boxes. Hope this helps!
Answer:
Answer:
Q:
Does this tea contain black pepper ?
Answer: No. It doesn’t contain black pepper.
Answer: NO! Why would you think it contains pepper?
Answer: No it does not. It is great to relieve stomach acid problems.
Answer: Nope
Q:
Are the tea bags indivisually wrapped?
Answer: I hate to assume too. I've never found Stash to have packaging labeled with a number of tea bags to end up being loose leaf or full-leaf tea.
Answer: Yes, I have purchased many of their teas, in multiple counts, and they have all been individually wrapped.
Answer: Yes, they are. Inside the wrapper they are attached with a string that has a small paper 'floater'. The attachments are very small staples and must be handled carefully so you do not dislodge one of the staples.
Answer: Yes
Answer: Yes, they are.
Answer: Yes they are????????
Answer: Yes.
Answer: Yes
Q:
Is there any acid in this tea?
Answer: I use it in sun tea and enjoy it very much - no acid taste to me. Good luck!
Answer: I don't notice an acid taste. Reading the ingredients says: ginger root, lemongrass, lemon flavor, sunflower, hibiscus and citric acid. I'm not sure what your experiences have been in the past but it doesn't seem to be an issue for me.
Q:
i heard that this tea is great for weight loss is that true ?
Answer: It might be because it makes me go potty. That's probably why some people say it helps you lose weight.

Answer: I have no idea, I just love the taste
Answer: I dob't jnow.
Q:
Are the individually wrapped lemon ginger bags yellow? Weird question, but I must have yellow for an object lesson?
Answer: Sorry, can't paste photo. Lemon Ginger envelope is Butterscotch color. Meyer Lemon Stash Tea is lighter in color and might work for you. It is a dark yellow. Chart I saw it would be similar to "Sunglow" yellow vs "Lemon Yellow"-- hope that helps.
Answer: Yes they r yellow and individually wrappef
Answer: Yes, they are.
Q:
Is this price for one box of 20 tea bags or for one case of product?
Answer: Read the description, sweetheart...
Answer: 1 box which contains 6 packages total 120 tea bags

Answer: This is for one box.
Answer: One case of product
Answer: I´ve paid for and received the case.

Answer: Yes it does, 2 actually, one on the tea bag and string connection and on the tab that hangs outside the cup for dipping.
Answer: Yep. My magnet says they're not steel, so most likely aluminum
Answer: Yes, little tiny ones.
Q:
do anyone know, where this made ?
Answer: not sure but, this company dose have a web-site with phone numbers. https://www.stashtea.com/
Answer: Sorry, no. Neither the boxes or individually packaged bags say anything about origin. The company is located in Oregon.

Q:
Is this lemon ginger tea corrosive on enamel?
Answer: By definition, Enamel is an "opaque and hard substance used to protect from corrosion and increase the aesthetic appearance of materials". The answer then would NO, lemon should not be corrosive on Enamel. What could happen though, is a colouring of the Enamel by repetitive use with tea or coffee, this can be solved by applying a 1 to 1 mixture of water and vinegar.
Answer: Hello and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. Our tea is not corrosive to enamel used in any kind of tea ware or mug. But if you are concerned with tooth enamel we can only suggest you speak with a dental professional with regards to enamel care and tea consumption. Please write us at amazon-response@stashtea.com if you have any other questions or concerns regarding Stash Tea products. We're happy to help!
Answer: O have not used it on enamel. The taste is wonderful. Frequently, I add a piece of candied ginger which intensifies the flavor.
Answer: Absolutely. We all lost some digits, a hand, a foot too when some tea spilled from our titanium mugs. Very much like in Alien, the hole in the floor went for several stories.
Q:
How strong is the ginger? Can you taste the heat of the ginger?
Answer: I know this is an old question but I just ordered this new tweaked recipe/batch about a month ago 12/2018. The ginger is much stronger than the lemon now. Almost too strong for my liking.
Answer: I love this tea. I am having a cup right now. I don't taste the heat of ginger, but I know it is there. There is a hint of ginger, not too strong.
Answer: It isn't too strong (for me) but definitely there. That's one of the reasons we especially like this one. It has a lovely warm, spicy remaining taste. We order it by the 100 count. I am having Stash Spice Dragon Red Chai as I type.
Answer: The taste is all ginger. I was expecting the taste of lemon too. :(
Q:
So, there is no green tea leaf in this product?
Answer: Stash tea company says it blends green tea with spices to make chai.
Answer: I've never tried this product. Since the label doesn't say 'green tea', I would imagine not. Check the label.
Product reviews of Stash Tea Lemon Ginger Herbal Tea, 6 Boxes of 20 Tea Bags Each (120 Tea Bags Total)
Sharon B : Excellent product.
Excellent product. Great for cold days or if you're under the weather (great if someone is nauseous). The tastes are well balanced. Added a bit of honey...so good. I've had three people try it and are hooked and one didn't even like ginger.
MyMomShopsAtGoodwill : Perfect!
One of my favorites! Flavorful with a slight bite of ginger. The packaging is great and locks in the flavors. I drink this all the time, but especially when I feel sick. Warms me up and soothes my throat.
Katycaboose : Do not buy.
tastes terrible. Did not click or tap “buy”, had intended to tap save for later , because there were so many ginger teas to choose from and was going to consult about which one to choose. Some how or the other it went thru as an order. There several ther herbal items in this tea blend not stated in Amazon description.
Ella T : A literal lifesaver
I have celiac disease, and on those horrifying occasions when I eat out and the restaurant doesn't understand what gluten is, ("Just a sprinkle of flour in the sauce is OK, right?" After I've already finished eating. Thanks.) this tea is the only thing standing between me and dry heaving.
Oh, how I wish I were exaggerating. For about two weeks after getting glutened I live on nothing but Stash Ginger Lemon tea and baked potatoes. Plain water and Gatorade both make me queasy during these two hellacious weeks, but somehow this miraculous, heaven-sent tea has the opposite effect. Even under normal circumstances, I go through 4 to 6 bags of this tea every day. It's just that good.
It's also excellent if you have a cold/sinus infection/bronchitis/strep - add some lemon juice, honey, and turmeric, and you might actually be able to save yourself a trip to the doctor. When I travel, I bring this tea with me. I sound like a crazy person, but it really has such a huge impact on my quality of life. I've tried other ginger teas, other lemon teas, other ginger lemon teas, and none of them are at the level of this one. I love you, Stash. You are my hero.
nbsp : Favorite flavor; one of my favorite brands
I am partial to Stash and Tazo. Lemon Ginger is my favorite flavor. Reliable product and packaging. Decent price in Amazon Pantry.
Ther : Could have been more flavorful.
I love the product. I was just hoping it’s a bit stronger. It usually helps me when I’m not feeling well especially when there’s throat itchiness or soreness. I usually use two bags because, to me, it’s not strong enough. Nevertheless, I have recommended this to few of my friends and family. Work requires me to talk quite a lot and sipping (this) hot tea in between talks helps me a lot.
Richland Lass : wonderful bold flavor, one of my absolute. all-time favorite teas!
I like to keep this tea around all the time. I like it anytime, but especially when I'm coming down with the cold, flu or sore throat, it is very soothing, and I'm convinced helps me get over "it" faster. I just had a terrible cold and was rummaging through cupboards and only found two, so I needed to renew my stash (no pun intended). If you haven't tried it, well, if the words lemon and ginger make your mouth water like they do mine, you will love this tea. So many herbal teas do not deliver on flavor, but this one definitely does. I like the bold flavor. If you like it sweet, add some honey and you'll be in heaven.
RLF : ... the summer and believe this ginger tea will be better for me --Like this product
First thing in the morning I have a cup of coffee while I tend to my dog -- then a cup of Ginseng tea with my breakfast -- then a cup of this Lemon Ginger Herbal Tea while I relax -- later in the day I try to have another cup in the afternoon -- I'm experimenting with making some flavor of ice tea -- I drink a lot of regular lipton ice tea in the summer and believe this ginger tea will be better for me --Like this product ! Recommend
Lane : Weak on flavor
Very weak on the lemon and the ginger. Try another product because this brand isn’t worth the money. I like some of stashes other flavors but this one just doesn’t cut the mustard.
Happy : Mmmm
So good! I really was looking for something ginger and I found it here. The way it kind of sparkles in the back of your throat. Then there’s the lemon part a little quench of sour. Together, bareably hot, it is one delicious drink!
V. Tajpuria : Not packed in a container.
I’d like to say I had the tea and I loved it. But I can’t. I got the tea in a box with all the tea packets tossed in, not bag or packeting. In this day and age of Covid-19, I didn’t trust using it. I threw it all out without trying any.
Krystal : Spicy
If you dont like spice don't buy this. It does have some spice to it. Clearly because it does have ginger in it.
Jane Fairchild : Much Ginger.
If you like ginger root tea, then you'll be a fan of Stash Lemon Ginger Tea. Wasn't expecting this tea to come anywhere close to that made from fresh ginger root, but low and behold, it packs a wallop of a ginger punch with the added convenience of coming in a little bag ready to steep. Came packaged with individually wrapped bags loosely packed in a box. Can't beat the price!
Alexis Wakefield : THIS TEA IS EXCEEDINGLY DELICIOUS ITS MY FAVORITE
I LOVE THIS BRAND IT IS MY FAVORITE. I love the LEMON GINGER. STASH IS MY FAVORITE TEA BRAND BECAUSE IT HAS THE BEST FLAVOR!
JJ : stale
The last two boxes (got the 100 count) were so stale they were completely flavorless! To be fair they did refund me but this was the second failed batch. What's up guys? Used to love your tea.
GR : Horrible
Horrible. I'll never buy this brand again. Yogi tea is the best.
Richard Derus : Wonderful, inviting aroma
The only thing this tea-loathing coffeehead did NOT like about the product was the packing. The sachets are inside foil envelopes, as one would expect; then the envelopes are dumped into a regular corrugated-cardboard box! This isn't ideal for someone whose hands are crippled.
The flavor and aroma are the main things I hoped to enjoy, and I did. I had a mild case of the plague, lost my sense of smell and taste, and thought this product might get past the blockage. It kinda-sorta did, which was the main reason I got them; but then I got hooked and reordered when I ran out.
And I *really* hate tea. A miracle has occurred.
Deb : The only tea I drink now.
For over a year now, this has become my favorite tea, and I have been a tea drinker for years. I have tried other brands when I couldn't find Stash, and none of them have as good of a flavor as Stash.
Linda Lou C : One of my favorites
Even though I can purchase this locally I added it to a recent order because I use this tea a lot and don't like to run out. When I make a big batch of iced tea I use two family bags decaf green tea, plus one bag of the Stash Lemon Ginger, and one bag of Traditional Medicinals Ginger-Aid. It's delicious and nutritious!
Keta : Essential for mucus relief
Excellent for mucus relief. Each time I made a cup all mucus came up!
grandma : Defective tea bags
I have been buying this tea through Amazon for more than a dozen years. This is the first time I have had a problem. About a third of the tea bags in the box were defective. The tea leaves would come out and make a mess.
Lisa Maier : Great light tasting tea.
I was afraid this tea was going to be too strong but I was so wrong. This tea has the perfect balance of lemon and ginger. I would recommend this tea to anyone who likes lemon and ginger. This is the decaffeinated one. PLEASE LOOK AT PURCHASE ONCE ONLY. I did not am having a VERY hard time changing this mistake.
Jeanette Johnson : The flavor is really good and it's great for digestion.
I love this tea. The flavor is really good and the health benefits are awesome. Ginger tea is great for digestion. The price via Amazon is very reasonable. Initially I bought some of this Lemon Ginger Herbal Tea at a local grocery store and fell in love. When I moved I was unable to find this Stash brand. I am so glad I found this via Amazon. It is the only tea I have ever bought in "bulk" and I would buy it again.
Cassandra : Well worth it, plus tasty
I have been drinking this Stash lemon ginger for the past two years, and am so grateful that this (plus adding magnesium powder plus glycine powder) is what aids in my sleeping every night.
I also love the taste of this lemon ginger; I haven't had any other lemon ginger, so I don't have any other comparison, but I really like how strong it is. I put boiling water from my teakettle into a mug, plus this lemon ginger and the two powders, and in my preferences, is a strong lemon ginger.
Plus, the price is so inexpensive, especially compared to the offerings at the local supermarket.
andy_rocks1991 : Amazing tea
I absolutely LOVE the Stash Lemon Ginger tea. It's fantastic with a touch of honey. Great for during the Fall and Winter. Perfect to make if you're sick. The flavor is top notch and price is fantastic. I just put the tea bag in the Keurig in the dispenser you put your pods in and press start. It's simply amazing how strong the flavor becomes in an instant. This is definitely one of those staple teas. I must try other flavors sometime. I generally get this at Ocean State Jobs Lot but just got a pack through AmazonFresh. Fantastic!
GR : Horrible
Horrible. I'll never buy this brand again. Yogi tea is the best.
NM shue : Antacid
I have been drinking it at night when I know that I may have acid reflux. I no longer have to take antacid.
I brew some tea and put some in the refrigerator. Then when I feel an reflux attack I drink some and my reflux goes away.
nbsp : Favorite flavor; one of my favorite brands
I am partial to Stash and Tazo. Lemon Ginger is my favorite flavor. Reliable product and packaging. Decent price in Amazon Pantry.
kranzie10 : Delicious tea
My sister got this for me when I was experiencing some health problems and she felt like the ginger/lemon combination would be beneficial. I was not sure about the combo, but it is delicious! I liked it so much that when I ran out of the first 100 bags, I ordered another box. I will continue to order this in the future, as it is now my favorite tea.
Travelin' Guy : Box of loose tea bags
Note that box of tea bags is accurate: but it is a heavy cardboard box with 100 bags just tossed in.
Agness Allagh : Bait and switch - first shipment was great tea, all others are crap
first shipment had the great tasting stash lemon ginger tea - premium. Subsequent shipment had this really watered down imitation of the stash ginger tea. See photos of the original (darker colored teabag) and the fake tasting tea!
I called and asked for a refund, was shipped a new pack of 100 of the same fake herbal teas!!!
Very dissappointed
DO NOT BUY.
Beeb : Outstanding tea - my favorite by far!
I'm a tea lover and have brewed numerous teas through the years. At the end of the day, I have always loved plain old Lipton tea as a go to. But this tea is now my go to tea and I brew it almost exclusively of any others. The ginger is wonderful! I have IBS and it settles my stomach. But not just for that -- the flavor is excellent and its always a treat to drink it. I hope STASH never stops making this tea! I would be lost without it.

Jee W : yum!
I will NEVER EVER run out of tea again. At least for like the next 3 years lol My family is obsessed with this tea, so maybe it’ll take us less than 2 years to finish it off. Nevertheless, this is a good value for any family that enjoys tea. Also good for small gifts for friends or loved ones during the fall and winter. This makes a might good caffeine-free drink, preferably hot, but I’m assuming it would be really tasty cold as well.
Nevertheless, this definitely refreshes and soothes me. A+ tea and brand of tea imho.
John Constantine : LOVE THIS TEA
This tea is flavorful, tasty, and perfect for right before bed, to stay warm on a cool day, or to just make you feel better. If you are an avid tea drinker and love ginger tea, then this box is the right buy for you!
Sneaky Burrito : one of my favorite herbal teas
A couple of years ago, I bought a sampler of Stash herbal teas at a store about 45 minutes from my house. This lemon ginger tea was one of them, and I thought it was wonderful (although not wonderful enough to drive 90 minutes round trip to get more...). I couldn't find this variety in any stores closer to home, so I tried a ton of different lemon ginger teas from other companies (my local Whole Foods carries multiple brands), and none of them were quite the same (nor was squeezing lemon and dropping a few slices of ginger into hot water, which I also tried).
There are a couple of additional ingredients in this tea (the list, according to Stash is: ginger root, lemongrass, lemon flavor, safflower, hibiscus, citric acid). I, personally, don't mind the extras; I think it's this exact blend that contributes to the taste. (I often find single- or two-ingredient herbal teas to be somewhat unpleasant, whereas the additional ingredients here all work together nicely.)
I saw a review elsewhere that complained that the ingredients panel on the box says "contains soy." This is important for you to know if you have allergies. The reason it is there is as an emulsifier, to minimize separation of the ingredients. (You don't want globules of oily substances floating in your tea. A lot of the flavor and aroma compounds that are characteristic of herbal teas are somewhat insoluble in water.) You will find this ingredient (soy) in a lot of herbal teas, including organic teas, as well as numerous other foods. I personally don't worry about soy, but for people who have a concern, now you know (it's not apparent from the product description here on the website).
At any rate, I like this lemon ginger herbal tea so much that I regularly buy these 6 x 20 count packages; I keep some in my desk at work and the rest at home.
SLNielson : Very disappointing, no flavor.
Very very disappointed. I should have read the reviews first. I thought it was just me, but looks like my box of tea was just as flavorless. I have to use two bags just to get a hint of ginger. As for the lemongrass, nope, it's not there. Not buying any more of this one and going back to my old brand.
Registered Murse : Great tea!
At first I thought that this tea, being so cheap and in bulk could not possibly be that strong. Far from the truth! This tea is actually SO strong that I mix it with chamomile in my 2.5cup coffee mug to dilute the strength a little while I am at work. When I am at home I tend to love the deeply accentuated flavor and it really has a kick to it!
If you like ginger, you'll love this tea.
yoYOyo : So glad I found this online
I was giving a presentation at a cancer center in Oregon and the caterers provided Stash tea with their beverage service. Over two days of presentations, I drank a lot of Lemon Ginger tea! I love lemon. I love ginger. Putting them together was genius. This is a clear winner in our house. I used to purchase only Mighty Leaf Camomile Citrus (I love that, too), but this one is a great deviation from my usual and I tend to reach for it more often than the Mighty Leaf now.
MyMomShopsAtGoodwill : Perfect!
One of my favorites! Flavorful with a slight bite of ginger. The packaging is great and locks in the flavors. I drink this all the time, but especially when I feel sick. Warms me up and soothes my throat.
Amazon Customer : One of our favorite teas
Great tea, very helpful for arthritis.
Jessica : Good tea, weird packaging
I mean the tea is good but what's up with this packaging haha?
Virginia Kay : Great product; stays very fresh with the lined packages.
I love this tea! I alternate between this brand and another, and this one seems more "ginger" focused while the other is more "lemon." I like them both and like to go back and forth. The packages of this are easier for me to tear open and I don't accidentally tear the tea bags as often with this one. Be forewarned, this is one cardboard box filled with a jumble of teabags, so if you like your teabags nice and neat like I do, you will have to sort them yourself, but it's not a big deal.
Lisa Maier : Great light tasting tea.

queenie : Great Flavor
I was stuck on Peppermint and needed a change and this Lemon Ginger really is a fresh change.
