Does the chocolate hazelnut tea have a weak chocolate flavor or does it have a strong one and how long should I steep it for ?

Answer: The Decaf Chocolate Hazelnut tea has a noticeably chocolate flavor and is complimented well with sugar and a splash of milk to further bring out the flavor of the chocolate and hazelnut.

Answer: You can taste the chocolate in it , it's not overwhelming . I just leave the teabag in the whole time I'm drinking it. Works fine that way.

The only thing I would change is the loose tie string which is popular with many brands. I have used a very large mug for about 30 years now. Must hold at lease 20 ounces. I nuke my hot water for the tea and throw in the tea bag. As often as not the tea has imploded in my mug. I now have resorted to stapling the tea bag and yanking the string off.

I did find the 6-7 ounces of water gave me the strong flavor similar to my coffee taste. My friend was using 10-12 ounces and found its flavor was weak. I will be ordering more.

STASH PREMIUM TEA has little to no taste, depending on the flavor used. The Decaf Chocolate Hazelnut Tea has absolutely NO flavor even when I try 3 tea bags to a cup of boiling water. I purchased 6 - 18 count boxes. I had tried a hot chocolate tea in one of our little delis and it was wonderful. I don't remember the name of the tea. I don't know if this is common for STASH tea or if I received an old batch. I'm sitting here with over 100 tea bags with absolutely no flavor.

If you're looking for a tea with flavor, I would discourage your using this tea.

Love this tea - I drink the chocolate hazelnut and chocolate mint flavors, which you can't seem to find in any other tea brand. I have noticed, however, that some of the packages have bags missing the staples, or are so weak that if you put them in hot water and stir, they break apart. It's only a handful of packages out of the entire box so not a big deal, but seems they might need some more quality control in the factory...

I gave up coffee a little more than a year ago, and have been, shall I say adventurous in my pursuit of an alternative. I've become a fanatic tea drinker, and find that only those with natural ingredients are worthy. Stash makes a phenomenal lemon ginger tea- but this chocolate hazelnut, although full bodied, leaves a bad taste in my mouth- an aftertaste, that is. I believe it has to do with the fact that it has natural "flavors". No real chocolate or hazelnut here folks. I gave 3 stars because of the quality of the tea.
