Answer: YES! I received mine today, April 14, 2020. There are 6 (six) boxes and each box contains 40 (forty) tea bags. That being said, your math is correct in that 40 tea bags per box x 6 boxes = 240 tea bags in total. I will also include a picture of the package in my review just to clear this up once and for all. Has anyone ever tried it iced?

Answer: Yes! It's very nice espec for a hot summer evening. I'd try it someday when you will be home all day. Some people are more susceptible to its calming effects. I can drink a gallon of it but my husband is snoring after two glasses. Hope you enjoy it. I buy all our tea and coffee at Amazon now. Usually they are far less expensive, espec with teas, than supermarkets.

Answer: I do. I use a cup that is 16oz and put two bags in and let steep for 2-4 minutes before drinking. The flavor works well for me at those conditions and I sleep very well.

How many tea bags total in a 6-pack and how many tea bags total are in the 2-pack? I see some with 20 & some with 40 per box, but how many actual teabags come in a 2 or 6 pack?

Answer: 40 bags×6 boxes=240 bags. The prices on the 40 count boxes are a bit more than the 20 count boxes. But when you buy in the 6-pack sizes the tea is quite reasonable...i.e. $27.17÷240=.11 cents/per bag. $12.83÷120=.106 cents/per bag. So it's essentially the same price. You just have to decide to buy 240 or 120 bags. The taste is very mild. I enjoy the flavor. You cannot go wrong either way.

Answer: Hi, I just checked the box I received in June, 2019. Expiration date is June 13, 2021. The 6 boxes (40 tea bags ea) lasts us 4-6 months max. We usually drink a 20 oz cup with 2 tea bags every night (4 tea bags) For us is not a lot of tea. I stock up on this all the all the time. Answer: If you've never tasted herbal tea, especially the Sleepytime tea wagons are not familiar with at least Camomile herb then it might taste a tad weird but with all the herbs combined I have been drinking it for years and loved the taste. i don't know how to mix Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Herbal Tea without a bag.

Answer: I don't really understand the question. Celestial tea comes in tea bags, for making a cup of tea, but if any kind of tea is loose, then you boil them in a pot and let it steep, strain in cup or pitcher and you have tea.

Answer: the easiest way is to use bags which already come in the box. Pour boiling water over the bag and leave in hot water until desired strength. If you talking about using LOOSE tea grounds, place about 1 teaspoon in a diffuser which has been placed in a cup and pour boiling water over it.

Answer: I am assuming you mean because it doesn't have a string maybe? I just put the bag into the hot water and retrieve it with a spoon but mostly for stronger flavor I just leave it in my thermal cup the entire time. Or if you don't like the bag it comes with you could possibly use scissors and cut it open and place it into a steeper. That is probably safer than a bag anyway and better for you. I enjoy the Bengal Spice flavor myself.

Answer: I spent the time to look at the report on Celestial Seasonings Authentic Green Tea lab report and 29CFR180.163. None of the results where the EPA has set limits on pesticide residues in dried tea are above those limits. Endosulfan (total) 0.11ppm - 24ppm limit, Bifentrin 0.28ppm - 30ppm limit, Fenpropathrin 0.01ppm - 2ppm limit, Buprofezin 0.04ppm - 20ppm limit, Carfentrazone-ethyl 0.02ppm - 0.1ppm limit, Acetamiprid 0.11ppm - 50ppm limit. Other residues did not have limits or could not be located.

I've been drinking CELESTIAL SEASONINGS CAFFEINE FREE tea seemingly for decades then SUDDENLY could not find it ANYWHERE here in NY city I was So obsessed about finding it checking store after store but never could and nervous my supply at home would be depleted.I always had one opened one in.my pantry often two because I didn't want to be without it also it was more a health food store item and this is b4 Whole Foods was popular and " Health Foodie" types of food were limited in conventual
markets and soy milk was a confusing item for most Fearing my tea was discontinued and All thered be would be Red Zinger. Very nice tea but not my favorite cup I contacted the company who responding to me said it was available in New Jersey outside of NYC. for unknown to them reasons and online from there website and of course if you can't find it you can most prorably find it here on Amazon . And so it was and I've been ordering it since
I found out I love Tea and drink it pretty much daily & often during the day but since I absolutely Hate Caffeine and I'm very sensitive to it can't sleep and i feel jangely from the smallest amounts and Decafe black tea does have a small amount Since I drink it throughout the day it adds up which is why I like CELESTIAL a version there is none

I can't tolerate any caffeine, but I love tea. I really like the flavor of this tea. It has a light mint flavor that's not overwhelming. I think that the name Sleepytime is a little bit misleading - it definitely doesn't make me sleepy, but it doesn't keep me awake either. I wish that the bags had a string to make them easier to remove from the cup, but that may be personal preference.

Once upon a time I needed something besides alcohol to put me to sleep. I tried counting and guided meditation and reading (of course). After a year of trying different things I came across this bedtime tea and now drink it every night. I still can't believe I fall asleep with no counting. For anyone who no longer wants or can take anything prescribed for sleep this tea will help you. I take this on vacation....to an overnight with the kids.....everywhere I sleep (and I don't smell like a vat).
A shout out to Amazon. When I started ordering this tea from Amazon I ordered Six - 40 count boxes as offered. I ended up getting Six - 20 count boxes instead and was disappointed. I contacted Amazon and they made it right by the next day. Hey! I switched and it worked.

I’ve been drinking Sleepytime Tea for several years. It’s perfect to help wind down and get a great night’s sleep. I’m a light sleeper, so Sleepytime Tea always helps me sleep better so that I feel more rested when I wake up. The flavor is not overly herby, so not bad at all by itself. Other herbal teas that I’ve tried have tasted awful and were almost unbearable. Add a little honey and lemon juice for a great sore throat soother. I place the tea bag in a coffee cup and use my Keurig for hot water to make it quick and easy.

I drink 2-3 of these at night because I love tea. Green tea in the AM, then switch to herbals like this is the PM to avoid caffeine.

This is the classic Sleepytime tea and part of our nightly routine, so I'd say the quality and taste are on par with what I love and expect. This is a fantastic deal for anyone who enjoys a nightly cup of tea to help wind down and relax before bed-- each box is double the size of what I can get in my local grocery store and much better priced in bulk. I think I was paying upwards of $5 per box of 20 bags while this came in a 6 pack of 40 bags for just over $22. I think it breaks down to $0.09 per tea on Amazon vs over $0.27 per bag at the store. A must buy if you are a regular drinker of Sleepytime tea.

I can no longer drink caffeine at all due to rapid heart beat. I really miss all those highly caffeinated drinks at Starbucks. When I make this tea in the morning, I use 2bags of it and also 1bag of Naturally de-caffeinated Salada tea. I put it in a 16oz stainless steel mug I bought at Starbucks to keep it warm. That way I can sip it all morning long and pretend I am getting a buzz. When you can't even have Decaf coffee, this is the way to go. Whatever is in it can counteract the little bit of caffeine in the decaf Salada. My heart can attest to that. Later on at night, I can only have the Caffeine Free tea & combining it with Celestial Seasonings Peach Tea makes a nice tea spritzer.

Yeah, I know it's a lot of tea bags, but it's worth it & I hate weak tea even more than I hate weak coffee.

This tea is excellent! I was looking for a herbal tea that tastes just like black tea, and this one certainly does the job. I enjoy black tea, but have given up caffeine and this is a great alternative to traditional tea. I prefer my black tea with milk and sugar, and that is how I drink this beverage. You will not get the same bold aftertaste that some people enjoy with black tea. the taste will be stronger if you add two bags, but again, not nearly as bitter. The other thing is there is no caffeine so your brain, at first may think something is missing. Other than that, this is the closest thing to black tea that I have been able to find, and I am satisfied with my purchase!

After a long recovery from a surgery and stopping all medications, I was left with insomnia. After trying all the natural products I could find, some with side effects, I tried Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Extra tea. It works. I start feeling sleey in about 30 minutes and then just fall asleep. I do wake up a couple of times during the night, but I go right back to sleep.
