Answer: I have never used lemon grass tea. I use green tea with ginger. How many cups can you get out of a single bag depends on the size of the cup you are using and also on the strength of the tea you desire. I usually steep my tea bag in hot water in a 12 oz. cup for 15 mins. as I like it strong.

I have been drinking this tea for7+ years and have loved it. I've ordered from this seller many times. However, the quality control was missed this time around. I ordered 6 boxes, 2 of which there is a defect with the bags. You submerge the bag into water and the bag opens up and lets all of the loose tea into the water making it essential unable/unsuitable to consume. Cleary there is a QC issue. Normally the tea would get 5 stars from me, but not this time around. Trying to figure out how to contact customer service so that the tea can be replaced, so far, no success.

This is one of the best herbal teas I have ever tried. Sometimes I drink it 'straight' and other times add a little honey. I have a cup almost every day. The ginger flavor is distinct but not tongue burning and, in combination with the green tea, tastes delicious.

The front of the box says "Matcha," but if you read the lengthy description on the side of the box, you see that it is basically Grenmaicha-inspired, which is basically like saying: yes it has matcha and sencha, but it will taste like grenmaicha. Well this is my first grenmaicha, and the grenmaicha toasted rice makes it taste like popcorn or nuts to me. So I guess I'm stuck with like 6 of these boxes then. TL;DR Could you please label as Grenmaicha, not matcha? They are very different.

I tried this based on reviews saying it was a good sub for the discontinued Good Earth green tea with lemon grass. Although it is not the same, it is quite good and is my current favorite.

This green tea has almost completely replaced other caffeinated beverages. I especially enjoy the mint and ginger varieties. One bag of each to twelve ounces of steaming-hot water, let steep for 20-30 minutes, carefully squeeze the bags to make the tea even stronger. Perfection!

That formula was robust in green tea and toasted rice and one tea bag gave out a copious amount of tea and genmaicha to the ratio of one cup to one tea bag. One could also add more water to the first finished cup and get a little more genmaicha out of the used tea bag. It was most delicious and satisfying; I drank the tea regularly.
NOW, I bought the new look box and the tea is just mediocre. It hardly gives out green tea and toasted rice. You can hardly see the green tea seeping out of the tea bags. My tea is bland. I keep hoping I will get a good bag out of the box, but I don't.
I won't keep buying the new formula. I am going through my second box of the new now after finishing a whole 6 boxes of older formula genmiachas.

Tastes really good and I'm trying to cut back on coffee since it stains my sensitive teeth so bad and I don't like doing the whitening treatments. Green tea also has a multitude of health benefits, so I'm excited about those as well. I make a cup every morning and I put a bag of peppermint tea in with it. Then after it steeps for 7 minutes I put local honey in and squeeze a slice of lemon. It tastes delicious and I know I'm getting way more health benefits than my usual coffee that I add heavy cream and sugar to!

This is a great tea. Unfortunately, soon after I bought a case I found out I cannot tolerate any caffeine (bothered my eyes), so had to give it up. Could not even tolerate the decaf green tea. I think this tea is wonderful for your health, though, and if I could I would drink at least a cup a day. Too bad it has caffeine in it.

I am very dissappointed in the genmaicha. We drink many of other Traditional Medicinals, but the disappointing things is they quit offering or making certain combination flavor teas that are tolerable to drink with the medicinal teas.
NOW, I bought the new look box and the tea is just mediocre. It hardly gives out green tea and toasted rice. You can hardly see the green tea seeping out of the tea bags. My tea is bland. I keep hoping I will get a good bag out of the box, but I don't.
I won't keep buying the new formula. I am going through my second box of the new now after finishing a whole 6 boxes of older formula genmiachas.

SQ : Hard to Find Item
I'm a coffee person at heart but my family are all tea drinkers and pester me to drink Green Tea due to the purported health benefits. The Traditional Medicinals Green Tea with Lemongrass is one of the few Green Tea blends that I find appealing. It's lighter and the floral / lemony undertones are nice. I can't find this particular blend locally so I was pleased to find it on Amazon.

This is my favorite tea and it is always so hard to find in the stores; people buy it up so quickly. It has a balanced green tea & lemongrass flavor which is delicious. I was thrilled to find it by the case on Amazon. The tea was very fresh and delivered quickly.

I love Traditional Medicinals tea and this is my favorite. The flavor blend is easy on the palate. I also like that this company is one of very few with the least amount of fluoride in its teas.

I guess maybe I don't like matcha or maybe matcha mixed with green tea is just not it for me. I really can't say anything good about it other than its a decent price. YUCK!

This is one of the best herbal teas I have ever tried. Sometimes I drink it 'straight' and other times add a little honey. I have a cup almost every day. The ginger flavor is distinct but not tongue burning and, in combination with the green tea, tastes delicious.
I had to buy this product in quantity to get Amazon's good price but the way I am going through it, I didn't buy too much, after all.
