Commitment to Sustainability: Your Small Cup Can Make a Big Difference LIPTON® understands the need for sustainability. But what exactly does sustainability entail? The United Nations World Commission on Environment and Development defines sustainable development as that which “meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs ”.
That is a tall order, but as the world’s leading tea producer, LIPTON® is committed to sourcing all of their tea from sustainably managed farms. LIPTON® is proud that their Kericho, Kenya estate has been Rainforest Alliance Certified™. In addition, they expect that by 2015, all tea in LIPTON® tea bags sold globally will have been grown on Rainforest Alliance Certified estates.
The Rainforest Alliance is a nonprofit conservation organization that works to conserve biodiversity and protects the rights and welfare of workers, their families, and communities. Farms that meet the standards of the Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN), an international coalition of leading conservation groups, are eligible to earn the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal. Rainforest Alliance Certified farms balance the three aspects of sustainability that conserve the environment, protect the rights and welfare of workers, their families, and communities and help farms to operate efficiently and cost-effectively.
About the Brand
Lipton is the world's best-known and best-selling brand of tea, and is the global market leader in both leaf and ready-to-drink tea, with a global market share nearly three times larger than its nearest rival. Available in more than 110 countries, Lipton is particularly popular in Europe, North America, and the Middle East and parts of Asia.
Lipton is a member of the Unilever family of brands.
About Unilever
Unilever brands are trusted everywhere; in fact, 150 million times a day, someone somewhere chooses a Unilever product. Among its many well-known food brands are Bestfoods, Knorr, Birds Eye, Bertolli, Lipton, and Ben & Jerry's. Many of its home care and personal care products are market leaders, including Brilhante, Cif, Comfort, Dove, Lux, Pond's, Rexona and Sunsilk. In other words, look in your refrigerator, freezer, or bathroom cabinet, and you're likely to find a Unilever product.
In the 1890s, William Hesketh Lever, founder of Lever Bros., wrote down his ideas for Sunlight Soap--his revolutionary new product that helped popularize cleanliness and hygiene in Victorian England. His idea was "to make cleanliness commonplace; to lessen work for women; to foster health and contribute to personal attractiveness, that life may be more enjoyable and rewarding for the people who use our products." This was long before the phrase "Corporate Mission" had been invented, but these ideas have continued to guide the practices of Unilever ever since, even if Lever's language and the notion of only women doing housework has become outdated.
In the late 19th century, the businesses that would later become Unilever were among the most philanthropic of their time. They set up projects to improve the lot of their workers and created products with a positive social impact, making hygiene and personal care commonplace and improving nutrition through adding vitamins to foods that were already daily staples. Today, Unilever still believes that success means, as its corporate principles state, acting with "the highest standards of corporate behavior towards our employees, consumers and the societies and world in which we live." Over the years the company has launched or participated in an ever-growing range of initiatives to source sustainable supplies of raw materials, protect environments, support local communities, and much more.

Questions about Lipton Green Tea Pyramids, Mandarin Orange 20 ct (Pack of 6)
Q:
does this have caffeine? how much?
Answer: Yes, it's tea. Not quite enough to kill you, unless you're a Mormon.
Answer: yes the box says 20mg per serving
Q:
is it strong? cause i need a good tea to get me going in the morning. something stronger than twinings engilsh/irish breakfast teas
Answer: The longer you leave the bag in the water, the stronger it will be. I leave my in until I am doing drinking it and it is not over-powering strong. It is a lot better than some of those breakfast teas and this and green tea are the only two teas I drink. I love the flavor of this tea. Get a box at the grocery store and try it as there are only 20 bags per box and then decide if you like it. Good luck!
Answer: In my opinion - and I'm a tea drinker - this tea is quite weak, especially compared to an Irish Breakfast tea. I had to use two tea bags to get something near as strong as the teas you mentioned.
Answer: I don't know if it's stronger, or has more caffene, but I find it to be more flavorfull. I like the pyramid bags it allows them to use a longer cut on the tea which makes it more flavorfull. Most other teas are cut so fine they are almost a powder.
Answer: This was my first time tasting black tea. It wasn't strong to me. Sorry, I couldn't help you.
Answer: It is a light taste tea. I don
Answer: What's strong to one person is mild to another but I don't think it is strong.
Answer: Yes it is. Not sure if it is stronger than what you are drinking now but I enjoy it .
Q:
Do this come in pods?
Answer: I don’t think so. Not sure why you’d want them in pods tho. Cheaper in bags. I just run hot water through my Keurig and use the teabag.
Answer: This tea is in a triangle tea bag, not a pod.
Q:
Does this tea have added sugar?
Answer: No, it doesn't. Think it as a regular tea. Only the difference is that it has not only the white tea leaves but also bits of dried fruit to add the yummy flavor.
Answer: No, it's just tea; you'll need to add that yourself.
Answer: No sugar, all natural.
Answer: No.
Answer: NO
Q:
is there caffeine in lipton black tea English breakfast?
Answer: Yes, but I don't know how much. You might try Lipton at 888-547-8668 or lipton.com for the answer. Also has 150 mg of flavonoids - the good stuff! This tea is delicious. I highly recommend it. Alice
Answer: Yes, because it is essentially black tea, which has a little more caffeine than green or white tea, but less than coffee.
Answer: Yes. It is a regular somewhat mild black tea. If you want a stronger tea, I recommend Lipton's pyramid Black Pearl tea.
Answer: Of course. All black and green teas contain caffeine.
Answer: Absolutely.
Answer: yes. 45mg per serving.
Answer: Oh yes!
Answer: Yes
Answer: Yes.
Answer: The stuff I had was caffeinated. I know there are decaf English Breakfast teas out there I have had the Twinings version and it was good but I don't know if Lipton's offers it.
Answer: yes....it is regular black tea therefore it will have slightly less caffeine than coffee.
Answer: Yes. There's caffeine in all Tea unless it has been decaffeinated.

Answer: I’m sorry, I used up mine
Q:
Did they stop producing this tea?
Answer: Yes, this tea has been discontinued by Lipton.

Does anyone know why Lipton discontinued making its "black pearl tea pyramids"? And if it is discontinued, when amazon offers it, is it really old?
Q:
is there caffeine in lipton black tea English breakfast?

Q:
Does anyone know where i can buy this product? it is unavailable everywhere i look. has lipton stopped making it?
Q:
Are these individually wrapped?
Answer: They are not individually wrapped however they are very easy to handle due to the construction and shape. Since they are pyramid shaped the wrapping would be more difficult than with traditional bags and the cost of these is very low in relation to the quality of the tea. I use Mighty Leaf for my nighttime tea and they are wrapped and awesome but 5 to 6 times the price. The lipton tea bag is a great choice and value.
Answer: No. They are using a silk-like bag that is a triangle.
Answer: no
Q:
So if I buy in bulk (6 packs at a time) I get charged more...? Might want to rethink those prices. Just added 6 single boxes to my cart instead.
Q:
How many boxes of tea is this?
Answer: It has 6 boxes with 18 tea bags per box.
Q:
What flavor is this? "Lipton Pyramid Tea Bags, White Tea With Island Mango & Peach Flavor" or what the photo shows, Lipton White Tea with Peach Mango?
Answer: It's Lipton White Tea with Peach Mango (same box as what's in the photo).
Answer: It's what the picture says, a peach mango flavor in white tea. I discovered that they sell it at the local Wal-Mart.
Answer: I am not sure. It is advertised as mango & peach. It isa light tea I like it but if you read the iingredients it has no peach or mango flavoring. so not sure. I do like it .it is a nice mild tea. Hope this helps
Q:
One of the ingredients is modified corn starch... how is that 100% natural?
Q:
How much mg caffeine is there in a bag of "green tea mandarin orange" flavor? Also any idea how much theanine is in it?
Q:
What does the expiration date of JUN2715902 003 mean on the package?
Answer: June 27, 2015
Q:
Does anybody know why did the White Peach Mango tea stop selling at retail stores?
Q:
What size are the tea bags?
Answer: Each bag weighs 2 grams, they are smallish and pyramid shaped, made of some kind of plastic, not paper. The tea is premium quality- no fillers.
Answer: They hold the same amount of tea as a regular tea bag, they are just shaped different. (the tea brews better in your cup because there is more room in the bag - in my opinion)
Answer: Individual size for a cup of tea. The tea is very good
Answer: normal size apprpx 1 tsp tea
Answer: Normal size of one cup teabags.
Answer: Regular size
Q:
I read online that white tea gets rids of belly fat. Does anyone know if that's true?
Answer: Not for me thus far, I just love the taste and my understanding is that white tea has more antioxidants than others. I feel healthy with a plethora of health issues.
Q:
The price of $25.00 cant be right for that. Besides, i thought this was discontinued which was a very bad decision by Lipton.
Answer: Hi Judy - thanks for your email. I don't know if this flavor was discontinued by Lipton, as I did not check this matter out. Perhaps it was a bad decision by Lipton as this flavor is indeed delicious tasting tea. There is a person on eBay selling 6 boxes for $300, that's more than I am asking for one (1) box. Because this tea is hard to come by, can't find it easily, I am selling it for $25 for one (1) box. If you want it - it's my last one that I have, make me a reasonable offer ?
Q:
Is this for 6 boxes?
Answer: Going by the $.16 per unit and an 18 count box, it appears to be for 6 boxes. Mine was under a different deal so I received only one box.
Answer: I've ordered it twice in the past and received 6 boxes of 18. I just received my February order and it only had 1 box. I will be contacting Amazon to fix it.
Answer: Yes
Q:
Did they stop making lipton bavarian wild berry tea?
Q:
Is this just one box a black tea?
Answer: If this is an 18-20 ct box. Then yes. I got my mom 6 , 18 ct boxes of the white mango peach.
Answer: It was just one box.
Answer: Yes, one box of 20 tea bags.
Answer: Poor quality...single servings. Would not buy again.
Answer: Yes it is.
Q:
I'm looking for a breakfast tea with a boost. Does this contain caffeine?
Answer: Yes, it does, it's a black tea and they always contain caffeine.
Answer: From packaging: caffeine level 20mg per serving (8 fluid ounces)
Answer: Yes, as Popi indicated 20mg per serving.
Answer: It actually does not say on the box. I can't tell myself.
Answer: It doesn't say so on the box but I so assume no
Q:
are the bags individulally wrapped in foil or paper?
Answer: No, the bags are loose in the box and the box is wrapped in plastic.
Answer: No, they aren't. As with other pyramid tea bags I have tried before, the bags are made of a silky material, and they are loose in the box.
Answer: no, they are each in their own little silkish bags. This is the best Earl Grey tea I have had and I am a huge fan of Earl Grey. This is the only way I have been able to find it
Answer: No
Q:
Can this tea be used to stain wood?
Product reviews of Lipton Green Tea Pyramids, Mandarin Orange 20 ct (Pack of 6)
S. Mowen : delicious and refreshing
This is a wonderful blend for iced tea. It is so refreshing just by itself but garnished with a slice of peach or mango and a sprig of mint it's also dinner party worthy. White tea is one of the latest health kicks as well so you can't lose! I also have brewed it extra strong and cooled it then added sparkling water and some honey and served it as a light punch. Again, garnished with fruit and mint.
D. Foster : very weak tea
Flavor is just watered down no matter how long that you let the tea bag sit. It is not like the original version you used to be able to find in stores. I would not buy this ever again. Also, the box does not close very well so most likely the tea will get stale for those who actually like this tea. Very disappointed that Lipton discontinued this in the United States because it was so much better than where this is currently is coming from which is overseas.
D. Selene : Best green tea flavor ever!
Lipton has apparently discontinued this favorite tea of mine. It’s getting increasingly hard to find. Amazon provided me with my own secret stash. I’m set for months! Get a clue Lipton. When ebay sells it, it’s obvious that you are missing the mark.
PattMorr : Not as tasty as expected
Flavor: Meh
LexiKenz : Not my favorite tea...
I love the Bigelow vanilla caramel tea and thought I would give the Lipton a try. Unfortunately, I found the flavor of the vanilla and caramel to be too overpowering. It smells and tastes too sweet for my liking. If you're looking for more of the black tea flavor with just a hint of vanilla and caramel, this is probably not the tea for you. However, if you're not a big fan of the taste of black tea and prefer to taste more of the added flavors, then you might like this. As for me, I'll be sticking with the Bigelow in the future.
sassylou : Dessert in a cup
This is like drinking your dessert, wonderful vanilla caramel flavor, add milk or flavored creamer. YUM
Halszka : Tea from Your childhood
This tea reminds me my childhood. I am European and this lipton is a real deep black tea from leaves locked in pyramides. It tastes refreshing and You cam brew 3 big cups from 1 bag. It has little bit of caffeine which help me wake up at the Morning :). I love my Liptom monthly subscription!
Kristi96 : Ok tea. Likely will not buy again.
Not individually wrapped. Only good for one cup. Good taste, but could be stronger dark tea. Item arrived in Russian packaging. Wish it had a stronger black tea flavor.
Valleygirl : Buy the peach mango instead
I bought these after falling in love with the peach mango Lipton Pyramids. This one just doesn't strike my fancy. There is something a little off with the taste to me. Think I will be sticking to peach mango from now on!
Amazon Customer : This tea has been favorite for years
This tea has been favorite for years. Unfortunately, Lipton Tea in their poor decision making, has stopped making this product which had a pleasant natural tasting flavor and replaced it with a stronger tasting and very artificial taste flavoring. The pyramid shaped bag was also superior to the regular tea bag, rendering a fresh clean taste, unhindered by the additional taste that a regular tea bag leaves behind in the product. I also know that I had company in enjoying the original green tea with mandarin orange and the other flavors that were produced using the pyramid tea bags. The popularity of these teas was very apparent in the way the grocery shelf would emptied out quickly and needed to be restocked.
Jane Jersey : the flavor is 2 great flavors combined.
I was actually looking for tea pods for the Keurig. But it seems that not so many people carry it these days. I saw the caramel vanilla tea bags and decided I like it.
James B. Doss : Nothing Special
I had high hopes for this tea, but was disappointed. My wife and I are regular tea drinkers; she's British, I'm American. We drink hundreds of cups of tea each year. When we just want a hot cuppa, we usually go for a regular Lipton teabag. It's quick, cheap, and not really all that bad. Sometimes we'll get fancy and brew up something more special, like a bulk English Breakfast. And for a treat, we'll brew up pot of a nice Black Pearl.
All I can say about Lipton's Black Pearl, though, is that it's nothing special. In fact, we both find it a bit bland and weak. Steeping for several minutes, it never gets very strong. Regular Lipton brews a nice, somewhat strong cup. This Black Pearl never get strong enough, no matter how long it's brewed. Perhaps the answer is to use two tea bags per cup, but that means only 10 cups of tea per box, and that is entirely too expensive for this quality of tea. Your money is better spent buying even a slightly better bulk tea, like Tevana or some other brand.
Kristi96 : Ok tea. Likely will not buy again.
Not individually wrapped. Only good for one cup. Good taste, but could be stronger dark tea. Item arrived in Russian packaging. Wish it had a stronger black tea flavor.
G. Winters : since this great tea is no longer available in any store that ...
Well, since this great tea is no longer available in any store that I shop in, I bought a boatload. I hope it's available after all my boxes are gone. I do love the flavor and it works well for both hot tea and iced tea. If you like fruit tea, this one is a winner.
Cindy From Indy : I TRY TO ALWAYS KEEP THIS ON HAND!
This is my favorite tea! I love the fruity aroma and flavor. The "fruitiness" is not overwhelming, but adds a lovely uniqueness. The flavor is not fake or bitter. I love being able to order it from Amazon, instead of trekking to several stores in search of it. It makes the most delicious and refreshing iced tea.
S. Mowen : delicious and refreshing

Great tea. However I discovered that the teabags are plastic when I put in compost pile, 6 months later still intact. I read from a respected source that they contain BPA. Nothing like a little boiling water steeped BPA and melted plastic flavored with mango. Have gone back to stainless steel perked coffee.
inmyownpriv8idaho...☼ : Um, it's tea...but, IMO it's still a mystery to me.
I saw Pineapple as an ingredient and thought "Oh!! Sounds good!". Out of the box, it has a strange aroma, post-brew it has an even stronger and much stranger aroma. Taste-wise, it kind of reminds me of a pineapple hard candy. I don't know if the chamomile adds anything to the taste, but, IMO this is an odd tea.
Coocoo : The Best Tea!
This makes healthy green tea palatable. It is the best flavor of all. It tastes good morning, noon or night. The little pyramids are the perfect shape for steeping well, the flavor gets diffused and the citrus taste is so refreshing. Lipton have a winner here!
Amazon Customer : Great hot or cold
This is my favorite tea. My wife and I both enjoy green tea or white teas every morning. Tasty as cold tea too. We purchased a cuisinart kettle that heats to 165 degrees for green or white. Definitely notice the difference in our enjoying our teas. We have this tea setup to auto ship. Great service from Amazon.
Greg : Probably my favorite tea. Watch out for buying in bulk (savings aren't there).
Love this flavor. Bought like 5 boxes. Very happy with my purchase.
The only messed up thing is at the time of me purchasing this, it was cheaper to buy individual 20 ct boxes than to buy the multi-box pack. That makes absolutely no sense to me but that's the seller's choice. Make sure you check prices per box before buying in bulk.

Angelika Sophi : Very pleased with tea bag quality and taste
This comes wrapped in plastic, which is great because a good amount of loose tea had somehow escaped the pyramids in my box. I opened it over a sink to reduce the mess and was immediately shocked at how great these smell. I have had many varieties of fruit teas in the past, but this is by far the most fragrant one I've gotten upon arrival. The pyramids themselves are very good quality, they are not the typical paper like material, but rather almost a fabric/plastic hybrid of some sort. Even though the package was covered in loose tea, somehow none of the pyramids I've steeped so far have left any loose leaves in the cup, which is nice. The flavor takes a while to reach full strength, but once there it is very refreshing in the morning with a pastry. Note if you are allergic to any fruits, make sure to check the ingredients because this tea has a variety of actual fruit bits in the bags along with the leaves (more than just berries). Overall I tried this just out of curiosity and was very pleased with the quality of the pyramids themselves and how the tea turned out.
Kristi96 : Ok tea. Likely will not buy again.
Not individually wrapped. Only good for one cup. Good taste, but could be stronger dark tea. Item arrived in Russian packaging. Wish it had a stronger black tea flavor.
Love : perfect tea for peach mango lover.
Glad I was able to get it from amazon because our nearest grocery store stopped carrying it.
This is my husband's favorite tea.Smells good and taste good so refreshingly fruiti.
W. Taylor : Great Cuppa!
When I want light caffeine and I want some flavor this is the tea I turn to. A black caffeinated tea with a herb tea flavor, I love this tea and I'm not a fan of Lipton in the U.S. Their better teas are sold overseas, but these are some good teas. Americans are catching on to what good coffee and tea is and Lipton hasn't realized that yet. It's no longer just a summer iced beverage to us anymore.
ACWinOH : Mixed feelings but not the tea's fault!
I have mixed feelings about this tea. I am quite partial to white tea but didn't notice there is green tea in the mix, enough so that the brewing time is for green tea, however, the fragrance is definitely peach and the flavor is nice and fruity which is a major plus for me! Hubs enjoys green tea very much so he likes this blend although a bit too fruity for him. All in all, it's really kind of a four but not the tea's fault so I gave it a full five stars! Might order again just for the fruitiness.
Stacy R. : Delicious!
This is really great tea. I buy it on Amazon because I can't find it in any of my local stores anymore. We add one pyramid bag to our iced tea brewer with a regular family size tea bag to add extra flavor. Tastes great this way! Even my husband likes it!
michele lamb : loved it --tried already

Megan : Okay flavor but not the same as purchased in-store
This tea tastes okay, but all of the writing on the package appeared to be in an Asian language, rendering it illegible. The taste differed from what I used to purchase in-store, but as I can no longer find this in-store, this tea did a fine job of filling the void!
ACWinOH : Mixed feelings but not the tea's fault!

Tom Johnson : I love this black tea
I like rich black teas for hot tea. This tea has a wonderful, rich black tea flavor. Recently discontinued at our local Kroger, we cannot find it anywhere in town, so Amazon to the rescue!
AgentPapillon : Delicate Flavor Tea
I am not really big on Lipton or flavored teas but this was on sale as an add on so I gave it a try. The tea tastes fresh and light and has a sweet taste of caramel and scent of vanilla. The mesh pyramid bag is a big improvement on Lipton taste. For what I paid for it, like $1.73, it is a real taste treat. It has opened me up to try other premium pyramid teas by Lipton.
Kindle Customer : excellent tea
Aroma is key to this tea! Upon opening the box for the first time, i recommend that you immediately transfer the tea to an airtight container....like a ziploc type bag....otherwise the aroma (and flavor) will haunt your cabinet... but not your cup!
Of note... i subscribed to this blend for a couple of months but Amazon jacked the price way up one month (from $2 to over $4) so I canceled the subscription.
BostonLady : Good flavor. Good tea.
I love this flavor. Lipton must have quit making the Keurig pods I like. These are the closest I have found.
EHz : Exotic Tasting Tea
I had never tried this flavor tea but had a preconceived notion about what it might taste like, which was not at all correct. The tea has no natural sweetness, but instead has a musky, earthy flavor with a very slight hint of caramel and vanilla flavoring. The truffle is the emphasis in this tea's flavor, which as many will note if they've had the real thing, can be an acquired and sometimes over powering taste if used in inappropriate quantities or in the wrong mix.
Having given this impression about my first couple of tastings of the tea once I got over my preconceived notions of what it should taste like based on the name I find I am really enjoying the exotic truffle taste with my tea. Your 15 year old may not like it but for more mature tastes this I think is an interesting and enjoyable flavor.
Nathan Lam : Interesting Tea not for everyone
Very interesting taste not for everyone. I don't like the taste of this tea but that doesn't mean that someone else don't like the taste.
Annie R Walker : Wonderful!!!
Love it…this was one that one of my girls brought home and I enjoyedit, so when I went to my "Amazon", I saw that I could buy a nice amount, so I brought a nice amount…Love the flavor.

Splitrock River : My bad. This is a really smooth black tea
Seriously not a tea expert, but I typically go more upscale for quality black tea. My bad. This is a really smooth black tea, no harshness, yet strong. Another "tell" (according to my tea expert friends), is a box of this tea never has tea dust accumulating at the bottom as one sometimes finds - bags are cool, and the tea leaf in the bag looks and smells good. Excellent quality for the $.
Jess : Not good as a gift
I had purchased this to give to my grandma as a little gift because she enjoys black tea. However when I received it there were loose tea particles all over the inside and outside of the box within the plastic packaging. It looked very unappealing and definitely not gift worthy, at first glance it seemed like there were bugs in it.
As far as the quality of the tea I did end up keeping it and it was good, I couldn't say it is any better or worse than black tea thay doesn't come in little pyramid bags.
ruraldoc : Great tea. However I discovered that the teabags are ...
Great tea. However I discovered that the teabags are plastic when I put in compost pile, 6 months later still intact. I read from a respected source that they contain BPA. Nothing like a little boiling water steeped BPA and melted plastic flavored with mango. Have gone back to stainless steel perked coffee.
lunachik : Try it. You'll love it!
I love black tea. It may not be as good for you as green, but I love it. This is the best readily available black tea on the market, in my opinion. I love the little pyramid bags, so cute. Nothing warms me (or my sister) up like a steaming cup of Lipton black tea with cream and a little sugar. Try it!
Stephanie Manley : Tastes just like high end Republic of Tea, Teavanna teas !
I love aromatic black tea. I personally have loved some of the pricey brands. I was very disappointed when The Republic of Tea discontinued their Raspberry Quince tea. I loved that tea for over 10 years. This is a good substitute for one-third of the price. The berry notes are pronounced, but this doesn't taste like a fruit punch. They fruit is just enough.
I love that I have saved money on tea, and I am very satisfied with this tea. I think this is a great alternative to high-end teas.
