How to Brew


Step 1 175°F Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil.	Step 2 8 fl. oz. Pour water over the filterbag in your cup.	Step 3 3 min. Sit tight until steeping is done. Delicious tea is on the way.

They show the old packaging... does this mean that they're selling old boxes of the original formulation of this tea? The newer version sucks.

Answer: I thought the same but when my order was delivered I actually recieved the newer version. I bought the Awake Tea however ... but I did some research online afterwards and read that the older version was being phased out. So if you're not a fan of the new formulations don't buy this Tazo tea (at least from Amazon) because they don't seem to have the original version of these teas any longer.

The description says it’s one box of 20 tea bags... that can’t be right for the price. If it’s 6 boxes of 20, can you change the description?

Answer: I purchased in January and it was 6 boxes of 20 tea bags description is correct

Answer: I also got one box. I told Amazon and they repeated the order — again one box. Then Amazon said there was a problem and they were going to stop selling it. I don't know if they've fixed the problem yet.

What's the expiration date on this tea, bought 4/25/21?

Answer: Thanks for asking. All of our teas will have a Best if Used by Date stamped on the bottom of each pack. We hope this helps.

Answer: There is NO expiration on the box. I have been buying this tea for years! Tea doesn't go bad because it is dried and doesn't come to life until you put it in hot water! This particular tea is especially yummy! Look on any box of tea and you won't find an "X" date!

Answer: Best used before October 22, 2022.

The listing says it's only 20 ct. is this 6 boxes or 1?

Answer: It was six boxes, each box to contain 20 tea bags, although some of my boxes only had 15 tea bags!

I tried this tea for the first time months ago, for medicinal purposes, and I didn't really like the taste. It isn't very ginger-y, and initially I didn't sweeten it, as I normally don't sweeten tea or coffee. Then I began using raw honey in it, and drink it with breakfast every morning - 1 cup, steeped about 4 minutes. I really like it now, and haven't found anything else that I would want to have with breakfast to enhance my health. I don't give it 5 stars because on its own, without the honey, it is not impressive.

If you want GINGER Tea this is not the one to buy. This tea does not have much ginger flavor. Consider Yamamotoyama Ginger Green tea, if you can find it.

Mild Insanity : Light on Ginger, Heavy on Pear

Straight out of the package the aroma was a halting sweet and spicy with fruity undertones made even more potent when brewed. It's too bad that the taste couldn't live up to that exciting fragrance. From the name (Green Ginger) I expected to taste a bit more ginger and a lot less pear. To be clear, the tea was all right, but rather underwhelming for this ginger lover.
