"A unique blend of rich organic teas from renowned estates in India and Ceylon creates a classic combination. With a hearty yet smooth flavor, it is great black or with milk and honey or sugar".

Answer: There is no statement on the package about where the tea is grown, but according to the website, it is a blend of premium black tea leaves from Southern India.

Answer: It's grown in southern India. It's good but Mighty Leaf's Irish Breakfast Tea is even better, with a fuller, smoother, mellower flavor.

Answer: If it says "organic" then I assume it is. But I bought it because I had it at a function, and it was delicious. I bought the loose leaf simply because the price was better than the tea bag version.

I love this tea in the tea bag form. I drink loose leaf tea in general, so thought it would be so much better to buy a pound of it instead. There must be something to the individually sealed bags that keeps it fresh, because the large one pound bag smelled and tasted awful and did not resemble in any way the tea bags I had enjoyed for so long. It's almost as if it went rancid. I asked for a refund and ordered the tea bags instead...

So when this arrived, I quickly brewed it, all excited, looking to prove the reviewers wrong. Only to find out that....this tea tastes like vile burned ash. What in the world??? And obviously I can't return it. So yes, If you like mightly leaf tea, this ins't it. This is some sort of Satanic exhaust fuel, neatly packaged and served with a tiny plastic spoon inside.
