Why is this tea packed in China? I question the quality as a result.

We pack our many of our teas in China because we can pack the tea much fresher there as it is closer to the tea source – most of our teas are grown in China and India, the world's premier tea growing regions. We have staff on site to inspect each shipment, every day. We work hard to ensure the quality of our teas.

Answer: South Africa

How much caffeine is in each cup?

Answer: Well, that would depend on how many pearls you put in a cup. I do the "Cowboy coffee" style. I take 7-8 pearls toss them into the bottom off a cup and add hot water just before the boiling point, like on Thomas Crown Affair. The cup will last two uses, then add 2-3 more pearls for the next cup. I am not a chemist and you have to doubt that any other consumer would know the answer to the "caffeine in each cup" question. There are too many variables, size of each pearl, how many pearls per cup, water volume etc. Just experiment, start with 3-4 pearls each cup and move up or down from there. Enjoy

Answer: I examined the box & individual bag. The tea is in a sachet which the manufacturer claims is “compost able “. I have no idea if it contains epichlorohydrin. I suggest you contact TwoLeaves and a Bud directly.

I would have given 5 stars to the original (Made in Ceylon). Those were very refreshing, had taste and texture to it. But the once I got in mail second time around are not any thing like original. On the box it says "Bold New Taste" but inside they have removed all the herbs from the tea bag and filled with some cheap loose black tea. Yikes....

Most amazing tea around. We first tried this while on vacation in Colorado. I'm not normally a Chai person but this tea is aromatic, nice blend of spices and not overly Chai. Hard to find in some local stores but I believe as it becomes more known, it will become a regular in places like Whole Foods, Trader Joe's.

I saw this Chai Tea when I was shopping here for the Tazo Chai Tea. I read the 3 reviews which all gave 5 stars so decided to give it a try. I have to say I am totally disappointed.

No real flavor what so ever. I was expecting a Chai Tea with a little bit of bite and I got quite a bit of nothing. The description written up by the manufacture made the tea sound wonderful. Again the 5 stars by the reviews sold me, the taste did not.

I would never recommend this tea to anyone, and as for me I'm sticking with Tazo.

I actually bought this tea based on my previous very positive experience with mint tea from this company.
But I was really disappointed to discover that I received a relabeled box of tea. So one sticker with a fresh “best before date” August 2019 was glued over an old one, which says August 2018! So the tea has been already outdated for half a year! There is no date on the teabags plastic covers so the only date is on the box.
This is cheating customers to say the least!
Wanted to drink a delicious tea as always did ... :(

Fabulous, rich flavor. My go to tea on the cold winter days. Really like that they are organic, and high quality. I have to comment on the shipping however. The box arrived with all 100 tea bags inside. Not sure how though as the box arrived just as pictured, but not taped shut!

**update: still my favorite tea! I don’t mind paying the price for something I love and use a lot, but when you get to the bottom of the box and notice empty bags of tea, (no tea bag), because the manufacturer didn’t properly seal the bags, THAT is frustrating. Especially since the window of return has closed.

I LOVE this tea! I was on my business trip to Florida and got this tea for breakfast in the hotel. It was delicious, especially when I added lobule of lemon to it. During this breakfast, I searched on Amazon and ordered this tea. Since then it's my only breakfast tea. I order it every two months and I still think it's the best tea I ever tried and I a real tea lover. Very recommended. It's expensive but definitely worth it!!

I brew my own iced tea (using good ol’ Store brand black tea bags) but otherwise choose coffee over tea. But I like all of the spices in chai tea and while I love chai tea lattes, they are full of sugar and make me ill, as well as being highly caloric and expensive. At work, I saw this among a large assortment of teas, picked up a bag, brought it home and decided to add warm vanilla soy milk to this organic mix of tea and spices for a homemade “latte.” It was amazing. The flavor tasted fresh without the guilt of price, calories, and gut-busting sugar content. I loved it so much I bought a box of 100. The price, based on research of others, is a tremendous get.

This tea is great. I do not consider it the best though. Actually this Chai is too expensive and will never be as good as NUMI Golden Chai or Seven Spice Chai.
