Answer: I do not know. It seems that you may have an allergy to soy products, so I don't want to give you any misinformation.

Are the bags made from plastic?

Answer: Thank you for your question. Our sachet material is plant-based, non-toxic and eco-friendly. Our bags are not now, and never have been, made with PET or petroleum-based plastics or nylon.

Answer: The outside wrapper of each bag is plastic. The tea bag itself is made of some sort of plastic that claims it is compostable but our compost service doesn’t allow us to compost any “compostable plastic”

Answer: It's been a year since I've ordered but the bags were not made of plastic then.

Answer: no they are made out of a silky fabric. Delicious tea!

I do t understand why a company would take a perfectly good product and ruin it with packaging. The peppermint itself is fine but the individually wrapped in plastic not to mention I don’t think it’s a silk tea bag and if it is it’s still sealed shut with plastic if the whole bag isn’t a plastic synthetic silk (which I bet it is cause it doesn’t feel like any silk I sew with). I will not be buying this again which is too bad we drink about 50 mint tea bags a week not to mention all the other types of tea. But not this brand.

I can't tolerate caffeine, so I drink a lot of herbal tea. Mint tea is one of my favorites. I've tasted many brands of mint tea, but this is by far the best. Strong/fresh minty smell and taste. The tea is in nice little sachets that are much stronger than any paper tea bag, and so it doesn't fall apart when I'm stirring or squeezing the tea sachet to get the last of the liquid out. And it's organic!

WOW! This is an incredibly strong, crisp peppermint flavor. For health reasons I don't use honey, sugar or other kinds of sweeteners and I'm allergic to some ingredients commonly used in tea, so it's not often I taste a truly delicious cup. THIS is truly delicious tea that I look forward to drinking. It has actually become an afternoon and evening "treat".
