About the Brand
The Bigelow Tea Story Beginning the moment our founder, Ruth Campbell Bigelow created "Constant Comment" Tea in her kitchen in 1945, our family has focused on just one thing trying to make the finest teas possible. Over the years we have introduced many new flavors as well as concepts in tea. Today we offer a selection of deliciously different blends of teas and green teas, a wide variety of herbal teas and teas flavored with real fruit juice. Today Bigelow Tea is the number one specialty tea company in the United States. And to think it all began with the first legendary black tea flavored with golden orange rind and sweet spice "Constant Comment"Tea. Bigelow takes immense pride in providing the tea drinking community with the best tea at a great value. We only use hand- picked teas, real spices, flavors and herbs. The flavors and blends we have created are second to none. Some of our teas contain up to twenty different ingredients! And because tea is a leaf that can dry out we take steps to protect it. To keep the teas fresh, we seal our tea bags in protective packets. We simply have to protect those delightful flavors. That's why a cup of Bigelow Tea is aromatic and delicious; a true indulgence for the senses.

Questions about Bigelow Classic Green Tea Bags, 40-Count Boxes (Pack of 6), Caffeinated Green Tea, 240 Tea Bags Total
Q:
6 pack means 6 boxes with 40 tea bags in each?
Answer: 6 packs means 6 boxes with each box containing 20 individually wrapped bags. I have ordered this MANY times.
Answer: Hi, My offer was for 20 tea bags and that is what I got 20 tea bag envelopes per box with six boxes per package. I have ordered Earl Grey And Constant Comment this way.
Answer: Yes, but the tea bags aren't individually wrapped. There are ten packs per box, with four bags per pack.
Answer: That is correct.
Answer: yes, that's right.
Answer: Yes.
Q:
where is tea grown and made in? what does the box say? thanks a lot.
Answer: I think the labels should be checked, because some of them do show "Product of China" on the box and tea bag packaging. I'd like to upload a photos of the one I was reviewing on Amazon, but I don't see that function with answering this question. But maybe this link will help.
Answer: Directly from their website... "No, Bigelow Teas are not made from any of the green leaf grown or harvested here at the Charleston Tea Plantation. American Classic Teas are the only teas made from the green leaf produced by the Camellia Sinensis plants grown on the grounds of the Charleston Tea Plantation." I just called Bigelow and was told that the green tea comes from China... which is what it clearly states on the box that I saw in the store. I am not sure where everyone is getting their info from...
Answer: Hi Liz, good question and I'm glad you asked. The tea is 100% grown and produced at the Charleston Tea Plantation in S. Carolina. Right here in the US. I don't know what the box says, I found out by visiting the website, bigelowtea.com
Answer: The box does not say but here is there customer service phone number 1-888-BIGELOW
Answer: Charleston tea plantation in Wadmalaw island, SC. That is what box says. It's well worth buying! E
Q:
What is the country of origin for this tea? Where's it grown?
Answer: I only drink the Earl Grey Green Tea. The Bergamot oil comes from Calabria Italy but nothing is mentioned where the green tea is grown. Sorry
Answer: The packaging only says "blended and packaged in the U.S.A." There is nothing about where it is grown.
Answer: Doesn't say. Just states blended and packaged in U.S.
Q:
Is this organic?
Answer: I am not sure. I know Bigelow has a good reputation in the market.
Q:
Does this help, burn fat ? and help boost metobolism ??
Answer: Here are a couple of links to help you out: http://www.health.harvard.edu/press_releases/benefit_of_drinking_green_tea
Answer: Based on what i have read, research findings seem to be inconclusive on whether green tea helps burn fat and increase metabolism. Many respected sources that I have read feel that whatever effects one may see from green tea are likely due to the high levels caffeine and other compounds in the tea -- both caffeine and these other compounds are stimulants - stimulants may encourage you to move more and as a result you will burn more calories.
Answer: Yes it can help, i lost weight doing the green teas in the morning before eating
Answer: Probably not LOL :) Wouldn't it be nice if it did?!
Q:
Do the tea bags come individually packaged or are all the tea bags loose?
Answer: I have only purchased the "Mango" tea, which is my favorite, in which all the tea bags are individually packaged. I would imagine they are packaged the same in this, but since I never bought it that I can remember that's the best help I can give you. Have a nice day.
Answer: NOT ALWAYS - if you buy the 40 count box they come 4 per bag.. total inconvenience if you have these for the workplace.
Answer: Tea bags are individually wrapped in the foil-like sleeve which I think keeps the tea fresher than paper wrapped.
Answer: They are I individually wrapped in premium foil packages...sealed for freshness. Love this brand...not disappointing!
Answer: They come individually packaged in little sealed packets...the way you'd buy them individually.
Q:
Does ANYBODY know the antioxidant content when brewing one single bag? The Bigelows don't respond on their website, twitter, facebook, etc
Answer: Green tea contains compounds called catechins (a subset of a group of compounds called polyphenols) that in test tube studies show antioxidant, anticarcinogenic, antitumorigenic, and antimicrobial properties. The main catechin found in green tea is epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Consumer Lab did a study on many popular green teas and found Bigelows to have 25.0 mg EGCG and 60.9 mg total catechins. Bigalow organic and decaf green teas were higher. This compares to Lipton Green Tea that had the highest of all tested at 71.1 mg EGCG and 188.1 mg total catechins. Hope this helps.
Answer: Unfortunately, I don't know the specific antioxidant content. However, here's a bit of info from WebMD: Several teas (including green tea) come from the plant Camellia sinensis. Green tea leaves are not fermented like many teas; they are withered and steamed. Teas from the Camellia sinensis are rich in polyphenols. Whether it's green or black, tea has about eight to 10 times the polyphenols found in fruits and vegetables. Green tea is a great detoxifier. There is no doubt about that.
Q:
What are your tea bags made out of? Do they leach chemicals into the tea?
Answer: i asked the same question to the Bigelow and they mailed the below answer.
Answer: i got the Pomegranate tea...but i assume the bags are the same for all kinds...and my box does not say what the bags are made out of...i would guess that you need to contact Bigelow directly.
Answer: I'm not really sure, my daughter drinks most of it. They seem to be paper though and I've not noticed any off flavors. The cinnamon tea is not listed as organic though.
Q:
Is This Decaffeinated?
Answer: No, this one is not. There is the decaffeinated version available for sale, and the description is below. Pop that into your search bar and it will direct you to the decaf product.
Answer: No, not that I know of. I use the Earl Grey Green tea and it is not decaffeinated. Most products state if they are decaffeinated.
Answer: This green tea natural contains caffeine, between 25-50 mg per tea bag. This tea is also offered in decaf.
Answer: Green tea with mint has 25 to 50 mg of caffeine. I not sure about other brands.

Q:
Is this decaf or regular tea it says both in desceription
Answer: On the front of the box it will say regular or Decaf. I was just at a grocery store that sells the 40 teabag box. Decaf is in really large letters on the front of the box. I have found that there is very little caffeine in the regular tea. I had to do without green tea for a medical procedure and did not experience a headache.
Answer: Thank you for pointing that out, and we have requested that to be corrected asap. This is for the Green Tea Classic (regular - caffeinated).

Q:
Where are the ingredients sourced from?
Answer: From the Bigelow website:
Q:
What is the benefit of Caffeinated vs decaffeinated green tea?

Answer: I feel no difference in decaffeinated and caffeinated....
Q:
Are the tea bags made using any plastic, including the sealing material?
Answer: box says 40 tea bags wrapped in foil pouches.
Q:

Answer: Matcha Green Tea w/ Turmeric tea bags are made from natural wood fibers, they do not contain any plastic.
Answer: the tea bags themselves, are paper
Q:
Do you have a peppermint play
Answer: No
Q:
Does this tea contain egcg??
Answer: I had not heard of egcg so I Googled the term and discovered that green tea contains egcg. I then checked the contents listed on the boxes of green tea I have ordered from Bigelow. Unfortunately they only list "green tea" on the box and not the ingredients/chemicals within the green tea. Based on the information I read on Google, I think you should assume that all green tea contains egcg. If you want to be sure, I would contact Bigelow Tea. Good Luck.
Answer: Altho’ it’s not listed as an “ ingredient”, egcg occurs naturally in green tea and GREEN TEA is the only ingredient listed on this product!
Answer: I don’t know and I have disposed of the original box.
Q:
Is the "Pomagranate Flavor" real dehydrated or just artificial flavor
Answer: There don't appear to be any artificial flavorings. Ingredients are listed as: "green tea, apple, hibiscus, natural pomegranate flavors with other natural flavors (soy lecithin), rose hips, licorice root, pomegranate peel"
Answer: It is real dehydrated, and will turn your tea slightly pink. VERY good tea!!!
Q:
Why is it promoted as 6 boxes and i only recieved 1?
Answer: Good question. I got six. But that might have only been a limited-time offer.
Answer: You will have to ask supplier.
Q:
Is this tea pesticide free?
Answer: I'm pretty sure they are not pesticide free. The box doesn't mention it anywhere and I did not see the issue addressed on the company website. This day and age, I would imagine they would tout it if they were.
Q:
does anyone know if they use epichlorohydrin, which is used to strengthen the wet paper, in their tea bags? it's a toxin commonly used. thanks. ks.
Answer: I bought the Bigelow Earl Gray Bergomot and not the green tea but I suspect the bags are the same. The ingredient in question is not mentioned anywhere on the box. But what is in the bag is probably not subject to disclosure laws. Your best bet is to contact Bigelow and hope you get a straight answer from them.
Product reviews of Bigelow Classic Green Tea Bags, 40-Count Boxes (Pack of 6), Caffeinated Green Tea, 240 Tea Bags Total
Kenneth Bellew : Compared to Yogi Green Tea Super Anitoxidant
I'm comparing this Bigelow Green Tea "Delicate Flavor" to Yogi Green Tea Super Antioxidant.
Pros:
* Bigelow's is cheaper per bag
Bigelow = 240 bag for $18.69, or about $0.08 cents each (June 2013)
Yogi's = 96 bags for $15.75, or about $0.16 cents each.
Cons:
* Does not taste as good as Yogi (IMHO)
* Each bag is twice as weak as Yogi's.
I drink a 16 oz cup. I use two Yogi bags per 16 oz cup. I find I need 4 Bigelow bags to equal the strength of 2 Yogi bags. Admittedly, this is somewhat subjective, but this is my opinion in my review.
Conclusion: While Bigelow's is cheaper, it requires twice as many bags to reach the same level of concentration. This is a plus for anyone who doesn't like it as strong as I do. If you like stronger tea, the cost is a wash between the two. Also, I like Yogi flavor better. However, the flavor is pretty good and the quality seems fine, so I'd still recommend this product.
Morgan Hendricks : Something seems off in flavor...
Something in this is not flavorful to me. I buy it at the store and it’s so much flavorful. Is this another brand that is pretending to be Bigelow???? And why would you put three in a packet!??
Thomas E. Reed : Highly beneficial and safe product
Matcha green tea apparently has four times the beneficial value of regular green tea. I also has tumeric, a product that fights inflammation in our body. Bigelow has no added ingredients, e.g., small bits of plastic that I understand are added in some tea. Thus the product should be safe in our body and the tea bag useful in compost.
ArganMom : Good product, great price, especially when used with Amazon's Subscribe & Save program.
Love the taste! Great warm or cold and the kids and wonderful for making non-alcoholic mint juleps! Great price made even better because we used Amazon's Subscribe & Save program. I would appreciate it very much if you mark this review as helpful--thanks! :-)
Mitch D. : Not the same quality as Bigelow tea from the store, tastes like regular green tea without the mint.
The packaging all says Bigelow green tea with mint, which is what I ordered, but I have been drinking Bigelow tea for several years. I know what the regular green tea tastes like, and I know what the green tea with mint tastes like. I do not taste any mint. This tastes like the regular green tea has been mis-packaged. I thought maybe it was a fluke at first but now that I've had 6 or 7 cups of tea I am sure that it is not me, and they all seem to be like this. Maybe that's why these were so much cheaper that what I usually buy in the store? I'm not sure.
George from Colorado : Tastes Great
I like this green tea taste. I believe it helps to curb my appetite between meals. I like to drink a hot drink in the afternoon, but not coffee that is laced with caffeine. This tea also has caffeine, but about half as much as coffee. There are a few health benefits to green tea and I like it. My wife also has taken up the habit.
Lawn Pro : Tastes great with honey, turmeric is good for inflammation, antioxidant green tea has benefits
I have never really had green tea before so I did not know what to expect. I have plantar fasciitis so the turmeric in the bags was interesting because It is good for inflammation, along with the antioxidant green tea. So it tastes okay, it takes a couple minutes to soak depending on whether your water is warm or cold. The tea by itself I didn't particularly like that well, but I added a couple of tablespoons of Honey into 12 oz cup, and then I really liked it. On top of everything else, my foot seems to feel better. Each bag has around 35 mg of caffeine, so that's not much of a factor. I'm a week into my six boxes, and I make sure to drink at least one 14 oz glass of tea a day. In fact I look forward to it after discovering the honey.

Jamie N. Garcia Carrasco : Gross
This tasted nothing like matcha green tea especially with whatever spice they added it to it makes it not only weirdly spicy but disgusting ????. Even adding some sweetener honey doesn't make the taste any better. This is my own opinion no some people may like it but to me I just want normal matcha green tea with nothing else added.
R. Fraker : Peppery tea........
I usually do a thorough job of researching things I purchase, but I must have messed up on this one. The box says Matcha Green Tea with Tumeric, and includes ‘with a peppery finish’. In my opinion, it also starts with a peppery presentation. I know I should have screened the product more thoroughly. Just wanted to put this out there for others. It may be ‘your cup of tea’, but not for me.
broktreeVT : Bigelow, always seems to be the freshest tasting, very well packaged
4 bags inside a foil wrapper so your tea stays fresh longer. The one I got was 6 boxes which I didn't realize, but it is so good it'll go quickly i'm sure. Bigelow always seems to have the freshest tasting tea, highly recommended.
AR : Where's the flavor gone to?
I am addicted to Bigelow’s green tea. Our office used to have a variety of Bigelow tea. Green tea and Mint Medley are my favorite.
With the whole work from home situation, I started having coffee to satisfy my caffeine need. I started cutting down on caffeine and wanted to get back to my green tea routine. I purchased a new box of the Bigelow Greentea and the taste has diminished completely. There is no flavor at all, it's like I'm drinking plain ole' hot water. I'm not satisfied at all. This has been my favorite tea for years, I wouldn't dare drink anything else. What's happening now?
The teabags I used to get at the office were individual packs. This Amazon one comes with 6 teabags in each pack. Once you open the pack the aroma is gone and you can’t re-seal it.
Morgan Hendricks : Something seems off in flavor...
Something in this is not flavorful to me. I buy it at the store and it’s so much flavorful. Is this another brand that is pretending to be Bigelow???? And why would you put three in a packet!??
mr dead : Ok
I buy these for the wifey. She likes to drink green tea as a healthier option, usually she drinks coffee. The taste of green tea alone isn't great so we have been looking for alternatives. The best so far has been a mint green tea, which she loves. We bought this one because 120 tea bags for under three dollars is good.
The taste, she says, is just ok. It has a strange smell due to the spices mixed in with this one and that may affect it. She will drink it but I don't know if we will be buying this one again.
Taste from one person to the next varies, obviously. So I left this as a three rating for that reason. She sort of likes it, but doesn't love it.
Sue B. Evans : a definition problem
Thot I'd try drinking green tea now and then (I prefer coffee) so I ordered the green tea from this well-known company.
The description spoke of PACKETS of six. I envisioned six individual tea bags packaged together in clear cellophane (or whatever).
When I opened my package, I was astounded that they had sent me six BOXES of Bigelow tea! I've checked with friends as to their definition of what a "packet" might be - no one has thought that it means a box of something.
So now I'm trying to farm off some of my boxes of tea to friends.
It would have been helpful if the Bigelow description had used the word box instead of packet.
Patricia D. : Best to buy this at your local store
Best to buy this at your local store. This is my all-time favorite green tea but noticed that there is absolutely no flavor to this tea I purchased on amazon...maybe I got a bad batch, but I will not buy tea in bulk again.
Hayley : Could not praise this enough
I got Into green tea about a month ago because of they health benefits. I have Suffered from headaches all my life and have yet to find any “cure” for them except Advil. I began drinking green tea and I went a whole month without a headache! That is unheard of for me! And the day I got a headache is a day when I didN’t have green tea. So I do not mind becoming addicted to green tea if it means no head aches. This set should last me about 8 months which is awesome for 20$! I could not praise this enough. Thank you.

Frisco Moses : Delicious, Fresh and Priced Lower than Local Grocer
Long been a fan of Bigelow Green Tea! This is the preferred method of acquisition from now on! The packaging is excellent. No loose or damaged boxes! The taste is excellent. Fresh and clean tasting thanks to each bag being sealed in foil. Do yourself a favor, get an order and have a soothing, delicious cup of tea!
Ronald Malcolm : A Healthy Beverage that Doesn't Require a Juicer
This was one of three flavors I sent my mother as a Christmas "stocking stuffer," although I assure you, her feet are nowhere big enough to wear stockings that would accommodate the order. Let it be known.
Anyway, this is a basic green tea. I say "basic," not because it's of inferior quality, but rather because that's all you get: green tea with no extraneous flavorings. This is the flavor and style of green tea with which most Westerners would be familiar. The flavor is clear and crisp. It's not heavy, bitter, or anything else that one would associate with a bad cup of tea.
Of course, the health benefits are well-documented. The caffeine levels are also not high, so if you drink a cup of this at night as my mother is wont to do, you will not be up at 3AM, straining to see through the night like you're acting out the last act of Apocalypse Now.
A great beverage all around.

Ohista : Weak flavor compared to non-organic
Bigelow green tea (non-organic) has always been my go-to boxed tea, so when I saw the organic I figured that It would be the same delicious flavor with the added benefit of being organic. I purchase organic when the option is available, so it pains me to say the organic green tea has a much weaker flavor than the non-organic. I’ve trying brewing longer but the flavor doesn’t come through the same way. I’m going to try using two bags and see if the strength of the flavor improves.

Hao : bad
Taste like grass. The color is not green, something between brown and green, much darker than traditional green tea. And it taste horrible. As an Asian, this has absolutely zero taste of tea.
KC : Not what I expected
I thought all green teas were equal, but I guess not. My comparison for Bigelow was Twinings green tea. Ive been drinking twinings for years, it's light, it's green, and it has a good green tea flavor. Bigelow didn't compare. Maybe Bigelow is better, or a superior green tea and I just don't know any better, but here's why I don't like it. It's not green, it's a brown tea. It's not strong, I needed double the tea bags I would use when drinking twinings. Maybe this tea would work if not being compared to another brand of green tea, however not my cup of tea!
*Only purchased Bigelow because amazon has raised the price of Twinings and they were out of stock at the time. Twinings.com is cheaper and they offer free shipping on orders over a certain amount. Now I know.
PSP : Great price for 240 tea bags
Great value for this amount of tea. I used to buy a iced green tea every morning from Starbucks. When I did the math, I was spending about $130/month. That is crazy. So I bought an iced tea maker and this lot of 240 tea bags. I have been using 6 tea bags every other day (2 quarts). So I get to drink TWO full glasses of iced green tea every day instead of the one I was buying at Starbucks. At this rate, I will be saving about $120/month making my own. It's a no brainer and the taste is great!
T. Weber : Gone before I knew it.
This is good green tea. Unfortunately, I finished it off all a few days after opening the box. Great fat burning properties. My only complaint is that the tea bags are individually labeled. I keep my tea in a tea box for easy access. This tea comes in pouches with the tea bags inside. Once removed, you have to drink it because it's now completely exposed.
David : My daughter loves this stuff
My daughter started drinking this tea a few months back. I had picked it up on clearance at the store. She wanted more and I could not find any at the local stores so I checked amazon. Here ya go! 6 boxes should last us a long time.
This tea is good. It's got a green tea taste with just a hint of peach. I'm not a big peach guy but I really like this stuff also. We drink it hot and cold. My daughter adds a touch of sugar and I like mine just straight up.
Overall, a very good tea. Recommend by daughter and dad.

I E Liter8 : research first
So I bought this product because I love match green tea and wanted the added health benefits of both green tea and turmeric. I gave this product a good month. Whether or not it has health benefits that people are looking for is still up for further research. I didn't realize until I stopped drinking this tea that turmeric makes me burp A LOT! I stopped drinking it for a week and still drank another matcha green tea without burping. And when I went back to drinking this tea, I started burping again. A little online research tells me that turmeric does cause certain side effects. Turmeric is also not recommended if you have a history of acid reflux. So I would do some research first before trying this product out to see if it's right for you.
Morgan Hendricks : Something seems off in flavor...
Something in this is not flavorful to me. I buy it at the store and it’s so much flavorful. Is this another brand that is pretending to be Bigelow???? And why would you put three in a packet!??
linda galella : Bigelow makes great teas and their
packaging is exemplary! I’ve been hooked on their Vanilla Chai for 3 decades...
Back on the topic of Green Tea, I was in need of something PLAIN, in order to facilitate the “IF”eating style and this seemed like it would fit the program. Plain it is! Too much so, if I use only one bag in my brew. When I make tea early in the day, it’s usually 16 oz at a time and 1 bag is plenty. I don’t care for a strong brew, but apparently green tea is too gentle, even for me! So, I tossed 2 bags into the stainless steel flask and waited for tempus to fugit.
After 7-8 minutes, the brew was aromatic and had rich color. It’s lovely both hot and cold and with a splash of lemon. Best of all, it gives me a small variation during the fasting cycle of my day????
Shutterbug : My new favorite--but hard-to-find--flavor of tea
My new favorite tea--Earl Gray taste but milder plus green tea antioxidants. None of my local grocery stores carry this flavor, so glad that Amazon does. At first, I didn't want to buy six boxes but the per box price is very competitive and I'm going through a box every two weeks. All in all, a great tea at a great value.
LofiFeelingOkayIguess : The best flavors, the richness of life.
This tea changed my life. I stopped cheating on my wife. I accepted the affair. She's been happy with another guy for a while and both of them got the house, the car, everythin..., but at least I have Bigelow Earl Grey Green Tea, a tasty and robust blend of Italian bergamont oils, infused into every sachel. Nothing soothes post marital depression quite like Bigelow™
Everything came in a sturdy box, and nothing was crushed at all. Feels good not buying tea from the same store the old misses and I went to
Charles Nichols : Best low cost teas.
When ordering I noticed a lot of negative reviews. I also noticed reviews on tea flavors unrelated to the flavor I was viewing. Yesterday I ordered 120 bags of Bigalow Constant Comments black and same for Constant Comments green. I am reviewing them both here as it appears Amazon does not care what you’re actually reviewing so I assume this will land on all Bigalow teas. I received these today and you’ll notice the dates and packaging. Excellent, fresh, exactly what I expected. It’s the same tea I get at the local store but cheaper. I’m am not sure how people are getting old tea, bad or possibly counterfeit teas. This looks as if it came from Bigalow, who is listed under the product name and is fulfilled by Amazon. I can bet you money the tea you buy at a chain retailer, like Kroger, is not as fresh as this.
Joan : Poor shipping
Ordered two cartons of tea. One carton arrived intact. The other was NOT in the carton but boxes were packed in a large plastic bag. Some tea boxes were obviously mishandled. Hoping the contents are good.
Don’t appreciate receiving a smattering of odd boxes not in the original carton.
Seems that the shipper was getting rid of odd stock.

Pauline Easter : Earl Green Tea Is Relaxation With a Taste Buzz
Earl Green tea is extremely difficult to find these days, and that's a sad thing. Green tea has a smooth, mellow taste that helps drop your shoulders down from around your earlobes back to where they belong, closer to your back. The Bergamot that gives the Earl teas their unique flavor, leaves a sensuous aftertaste to compliment the clean green tea. Amazon got my order of this lovely treasure to me just three days after I placed my order, making me wonder who they know in the delivery industry! I'll be buying it from them again as long as they carry it and I recommend you try this tea, iced or hot, either way it's a refreshing change from "fruity" teas or the really heavy dark teas. Lighten up your tea and enjoy!
Blue : Yummy Tea!
I had a box of green tea last year that I threw away after only using a couple bags. It wasn't the tea's fault. I just don't really like the taste of green tea or most teas in general.
But doing all this research on how to keep my skin and body healthy, I found that the #1 thing people recommend is green tea for your skin. It's the best thing you can do for your skin apparently. It's packed with antioxidants that help improve your skin elasticity and work wonders for your body. A lot of beauty products now have it, though it's usually labeled as Camellia sinensis in the ingredients.
So knowing this and knowing how much I disliked the taste of green tea, I was pleased when I found this green tea with pomegranate at my local supermarket. I decided to give it a try and I really liked it. The pomegranate makes it smell really good. I add two teaspoons of honey, and it's the best drink there is. (Pomegranate is also great for your skin. Burt's Bees Naturally Ageless line has pomegranate as their main ingredient.) And I can get two pretty good cups out of one bag. I liked it so much that I bought a 6 box supply on Amazon (great price) so that I could drink it every day.
Uniquely established : You get what you pay for!
I buy this particular tea in the grocery store all the time and it taste great so I was really excited when I seen it for sale on Amazon at a bulk pricing. I ordered it and to my surprise the taste was dull and tasteless and did not taste anything like when I purchased this from a local grocery store. This was very disturbing and I will not be buying this again from this site.
speaks the truth : This green peach flavored is heavenly.
This green tea with a flavor of peach is truly heavrnly. The green tea with a touch of lemon is also truly heavenly. Now I have a tough choice to make every morning bc I love both teas, with a very slight leaning more towards the peach flavor.
Patricia H. : Great product
I love this green tea. I am drinking it instead of coffee all the time. I still drink coffee but barely 2 cups a day instead of several. I put ginger and turmeric a couple times a day, which increases the healing properties of the tea. One thing is some of the boxes are weaker tasting than the others.
Ira Wilsker : Suprisingly good, and very reasonably priced
I have had other teas with Turmeric before, and they always seemed too "peppery" for my tastes, but his Bigelow Tea Matcha Green Tea with Turmeric was different. Not "spicy hot" or bitter at all, but actually very tasty.
A Purple Cow : Weak on the jasmine for jasmine green tea
I used to drink Kroger brand jasmine tea but recently moved to a place where there are no Krogers and had to switch. I couldn't find any jasmine tea locally at all and had to order some. It's not bad--it's drinkable--but the flavor is pretty weak even if you leave the tea bag in for a long time (as is my abominable custom). It really just tastes like weak green tea. I can't taste the jasmine in it at all. It's fine, and I'll finish drinking it; but after I run out I'll look for something with more jasmine flavor.
Paper or Kindle : For the green tea fan in your life
I'm not a fan of green tea, but my mother is, so I surprised her with this package of assorted green tea flavors, including a green tea version of Bigelow's famous Constant Comment, a decaffeinated green tea, and others with lemon, pomegranate and so on. She loves all of them, and we're especially happy that the bags are wrapped in foil so the tea doesn't become stale.
kimberly : Some of the best tea I've ever had.
I am a complete fan of this tea. Has a wonderful bold flavor and just enough of a sweet spicy kick to start my morning off right. It is good hot or cold. The aroma is also great. All round I am very happy and I know I will buy much more in the future. Buying bulk is the way to go if you like it as much as I do.
