What are the ingredients in the spiced chai tea? It just says "spices" . Not fair to not list them. It smells like it has vanilla in it--ugh.
Answer: Besides the obvious black tea, it includes cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom, nutmeg, black pepper and Chinese star anise. Vanilla can sometimes be added and I'm not sure if Bigelow does this.

Answer: The tea bags are NOT individually wrapped. 1 packet contains 4 tea bags. Since you have 40 servings per box, there will be 10 packets within each box. Unfortunately, once a packet is opened, the other tea bags lose their freshness.

Answer: Peppermint is added to the spearmint and Black tea in Mint medley. It makes a less sweet taste and more piercing with a stronger aftertaste than the spearmint alone. For a smoother sweeter taste, choose the spearmint of Plantation mint.
Answer: The mint medley has peppermint in it, whereas this does not. To me, this is a smooth mint, it isn't one that has a bit of bite or is too minty on the front end of the experience. It's mild as it relates to mint, but so damn delicious. It's my absolute favorite, and 3 stores in my area are out of it, forcing me to buy online. My heart is sad.
Answer: I tend to drink my tea iced and this is one of my all time favorites. Mint medley tends to come off a bit bitter and unbalanced when used for ice tea while plantation mint has a nice smooth taste and is good with or without sugar. It also has a much stronger taste as its a black and mint tea.i guess in the end the best recommendation i can give is that i stay away from brands like this, lipton.celestial seasons, etc but i always make an exception for plantation mint

Answer: I’m my opinion, absolutely! This is a potent, bold flavorful tea that takes far less steeping in boiling water than you’d expect. I remove the bag after only 30 seconds. So sun-brewing for a couple of hours should produce a satisfying batch of Earl Grey. I would use one tea bag for each 8-10 ounces of water, so it might be a bit pricey to make say, a gallon of tea. Go for it. Little to lose.

This is a staple in my house. My husband drinks iced tea year round, so I try to vary the flavors. I use this with Celestial Seasonings Citrus Sunrise and it makes a great orange creamsicle flavor. I combined it with black cherry to get a cherry vanilla tea. I've also used it with blueberry, raspberry, cinnamon, other chai teas. I also used it with peppermint to make a very refreshing vanilla mint tea. On its own as a hot tea, it's great as well. Creamy vanilla taste that pairs well with black tea. It's not overpowering, but it's perfect to add dimension to other teas if you're doing flavored iced teas or on its own hot.

I tried competitor brands but I was at Cragun's Resort in Brainerd, MN and they featured this tea....love at first smell. I got home to Florida and loaded up a big supply of Bigelow Black Tea. When you open that foil pouch, you'll know what I'm talking about. Better than any Lipton Tea, Nestea or Twinings version of black tea that you'll find. 5 stars!

This was the second buying this tea and I’m greatly disappointed in the taste. I love Chai tea, I’ve tasted many different brands and the first order was on point. Strong, bold flavor that you know instantly is a winner.
Sadly this last order is no where near the same flavor, freshness as the previous batch. I’m now having to use two tea bags to even get marginal flavor. Truly disappointed as it ranked highly for a long time compared to other brands.

Impossible to find in my local grocery stores, this is one of my favorite beverages. It’s delicious hot or iced so I buy it in multiples and drink it all year long. The cinnamon isn’t overpowering like some herbals and delicious straight or sweetened. Making a latte out of it is a very winter warming delight. During the summer months icing it and lightly sweetened is refreshing. Reviewing this hardly seems fair since it sells itself in every way.

Was good chai tea, but it appears that they have cheaped out on it. It does not have the good spiced flavor anymore. I contacted their customer service, but they do not appear to be concerned about the degradation of their products which gives me the opinion that they know about it.

I ordered three cases at one time and put in the pantry. When I opened one case, Amazon had repacked it with 6 boxes three different flavors of decaffeinated tea. By the time I found out, it was past the 30 day window, so they will not take care of the error. So, open your case when it arrives.

FAVORITE TEA EVER!!! This tea has an amazing vanilla flavor with depth. I've tried every vanilla flavored tea I could get my hands on, but nothing compares to this one. I do wish it were less expensive, but compared to the price of teas by other big names, it isn't excessive. And since it really is THE BEST, I'll continue to buy it. Try it, you won't regret it!!!

BUY IT, BUY IT, BUY IT. If you have never tried this tea you are in for a treat. I drink many expensive teas like Marco Polo and other French teas, and they are wonderful but Constant Comment is a strong black tea that fills a room with a delightful fragrance that really does rival teas that cost ten times as much; a mainstay tea that makes a great gift and will start many newbies on the trip through the delights of making their own tea. I like the loose tea when I have time for the "ceremony" of tea making but use the tea bags at the office or if I'm in a hurry at home. One of the few teas that really makes a couple of cups from each bag.

do I really need to review Oolong tea?....I mean.....its Oolong. I guess it tastes of rich mahogany with a hint of luscious oriental spices and smells of a rustic Chinese gardener named Tao. I've been pretty loyal to this brand, and this blend, since I found it in the early 90s. They were a sponsor of Imus in the Morning, and I started using them because I needed a teabag in a sealed pouch to carry in my pocket. I've been a tea drinker all my life, and I really fell in love with this one: it was a far better tea than you would expect from any teabag, and the price was unbelievable.

This Tea is all that and some! AMAZING!!!!! The taste is awesome! I use 1 pack of Organic Raw Brown Sugar not all the time. I love this tea it is the Queen of teas. It has also, assisted in me loosing a few pounds but I drink 2 cups a day. Excellent product I was already a big fan of the brand label all there tea is so good. No shakes and low on caffeine. I feel better I have energy and it is the secret tea that China hid from us...lol...Thank you for giving us this tea. THE BEST!

This is a strong tea with bold flavor and plenty of caffeine if you need it. It's great for mornings when I need an extra push. I can't drink this past about 3:00 in the afternoon because I can't fall asleep at night. All of our local grocery stores clearanced this tea and are no longer carrying it. I haven't seen that Bigelow has discontinued it but was happy to see it on Amazon. The price I paid for 6 boxes ended up being less per box than the grocery store, but I see the price has now gone up. Thanks Amazon for carrying this tea!
Enavarro : Awful tea
This tastes disgusting. Not all vanilla chai teas are the same. I had my hopes up with this tea. When it arrived i was thrilled and immediately brewed myself a cup. To my surprise it was very awful. The tea has this weird taste during and after. I really tried to like it opened about five packs before I completely gave up. As much as i added a splash of regular milk, oat milk, even by itself nope no luck on changing my mind. Honestly i think for higher quality ingredients spend the extra bucks on the Earths Best version called “sweet chai of mine” it has a higher price but you get high quality and a very pleasant tasteful amazing tea. Don’t compromise flavor for a couple bucks.

I love Bigelow teas and I LOVE coconut and almonds however this tea to me had a bit of a peppermint bark flavor which I like in candy but not tea. I got a great taste of coconut for sure which was awesome but this tea just didn’t satisfy my tropical vibe. I’m sure others would love this, I just did not and gave mine away to someone who loves it.

My Nana introduced me to this tea in 1983. We would have afternoon tea at her dining room table on Sundays over a pot of Constant Comment, assorted pieces of English bone china, and her sugar cookies. Nana is 95 this year and every Sunday afternoon she has a cup of Constant Comment at her dining room table in Illinois and I have a cup at my dining room table in Texas. Beyond being an amazing balanced brew this is a tea that has helped bond grandmother and granddaughter, was the centerpiece of life lessons, and was on the table as my character was built. I have been ordering and using this chai tea for about a year. I probably have it three times per week. I am not necessarily a chai snob, but I do like a flavorful iced chai that competes with Starbucks. This brand is the best I have found. I use a teaspoon of cinnamon, 16 ounces of boiling water, and steep two of these teabags for 5 - 6 minutes. I then pour in about 1/2 cup of almond milk, stir, pour over ice, and enjoy.
Like I said, this is the best brand I have found so far (and I likely will not bother switching).

Mae : Something isn't right
I ordered the Vanilla Chai Tea on auto-delivery in March because my local grocery store can't keep it in stock and it was a better price to order it on Amazon. The first delivery was fine and I enjoyed every tea bag. My second delivery came in April and I have used my first box. I noticed with the first tea bag that the color of the packaging was different. Then I noticed right away that the tea was not as flavorful. I thought maybe it was me so I bought a box at the store and compared. It's not me. I've opened my second box and the same thing - the color of the package is different. I checked the expiration date, which was fine and I also checked to see if I could tell a difference on the box itself. But I couldn't. Wondering if I just got a dud 6 boxes of tea - but very suspicious that something is going on to make this not legit.

It's my staple morning brew now. I used to be a 2-cup coffee-drinker until my body rejected the stuff. Sad day. So I switched to tea. I did English / Irish Breakfast tea since it had the most caffeine for tea that I could find, reasonably priced. Discovered this stuff and now this is my favorite. Bagaholic : NO flavor
I finished the AHMAD TEA (Earl Gray) which used to have a lot better flavor, but this time was a disappointment, so I thought to give BIGLOW a try from reading the review. MORE disappointment! BIGLOW has even less of the flavor, in fact, no flavor. This is just a simple black tea. That's all. I am regretting for ordering such a big box.

It has been 13 years since my best friend and partner passed. I decided it was about time to start drinking the large amount of tea they left behind. In the mix of teas was a Raspberry Royale by Bigelow. It brought back memories of us sitting down, chatting and sipping our tea. Even after all these years the raspberry flavor was very flavorful and still tasted like fresh picked raspberries. I ran out of it a couple of days ago and decided to order some more as a way to always remember the good times we shared. Amazon had a deal on a 6 box item. I loved the tea so I went ahead and purchased it. It arrived yesterday and I immediately opened it and noticed a weird fake berry smell. I made a cup and took a sip. O my gosh it was HORRIBLE! My first thoughts was it tasted like the Lipton raspberry tea you get from a soda fountain (minus the sugar because I don’t use sugar in my tea). That horrible fake raspberry taste that stays on your taste buds for hours. How could this be! Then I noticed on the corner of the box “Now Bursting with More Raspberry Taste” (maybe if you ate the raspberries, pooped them out , and ate them again). They ruined the tea and my special time! Why would you change something that was already good? When you developed this supposedly improved flavor did you use taste testers that love to eat poop? Because that is what this tea tastes like now. Now I’m stuck with 119 packets of this awful stuff. I thought about giving it to a homeless shelter, but even they shouldn’t be tortured with this awful excuse for raspberry tea.

Not sure why certain negative reviews.. im guessing they got either expired boxes, or perhaps some kind of generic or fake. Who knows but in any to prove my review..i bought a regular box from the store (box of 20) and this box of 100..obviously you can't tell taste from my review but I compared side by side and they are identical in taste, packaging, etc. Except the store box of 20 cost me almost 5 dollars whereas this cost me under 15 for a box of 100. For me the choice was easy! This is just an awesome deal for a box of 100!

The Cat Next Door : Love Mint and Vanilla Chai.
I generally only drink green tea, but I had black Mint tea by Bigelow at a restaurant once and liked it so much, that I ordered this set of 6 packs, as it included the mint flavor and the others also looked appealing. Plantation Mint is great black mint tea, that tastes perfect with honey and lemon. I also exceptionally like Vanilla Chai, it taste very quality and delicious, even by itself, but I add sugar and milk to it; I like it so much that I will be ordering just the Vanilla Chai in the future. Lemon lift is as you would expect, tastes good with additional lemon and honey. I also like Constant Comment, is kind of spicy, very intriguing and delicious smell.
English Teatime and Earl Grey are just regular black teas, I don't find nothing special about them and they are not superior to any other black tea. I will be ordering more Mint and Chai, but possibly not other flavors. I like Lemon Lift and Constant Comment, if they happen to be in a set, but not as much as to order them separately. Bigelow makes a great vanilla chai tea. I've tried other brands of chai tea and find they're a little to peppery for my palate. The vanilla in this tea really compliments the chai flavor with no peppery sensation and is awesome with a little honey and milk. BTW, if you're a regular tea drinker, I highly recommend using Amazon's subscription service.

This is tea. Just plain old tea with a little cinnamon flavor. I'm really confused by the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I bought a 6-box pack of this because it was a lot cheaper that way (I'm cheap) and so many reviewers said "this is my favorite tea". And now, having tried it, I'm over here like, have you tasted GOOD tea, people?? Because there's nothing special about this tea. Honestly if I had to name my 50 favorite teas, this one wouldn't even make the list. Now I'm facing the harsh realization that I don't have enough friends in my life, because I can't even give away these 6 boxes of tea.

I like Bigalow teas. But this batch of 100 bags doesn't taste like the Earl Grey tea I'm use to drinking. I'm using two tea bags in a cup and the tea is weak. I'm going to try Twinnings Earl Grey next.

I am exploring a new found fondness for Earl Grey tea. The reviews of this were rather decent so I decided to try it. I bought a good bit. I am very disappointed. This tastes like black tea that someone might have spilled some Earl Grey into. The packaging is good. Each bag is sealed in a plastic/foil pouch. It just has a very slight Earl Grey flavor whereas I am looking for a very strong one. I previously bought Twinings, which was good, but I was hoping for something with more of that Earl Grey taste.

I like the rich and aromatic brew, and especially enjoy using it to make iced tea. The distinctive bergamot flavor is what sets this tea apart from all other black teas.

We buy Constant Comment in regular and decaf, and enjoy it very much. The foil outer package on each tea bag is like aromatherapy...we just hold the open end to our nose and breathe deep the orange/mint essence.
I have fine-tuned the process to get the most flavor out of our teas: heat the kettle to boiling, remove from heat and let it sit 30 seconds til all bubbling stops. Then, we only use 3 teabags for a whole pot of tea. Pour the water over the bags, swishing the bags a little to release the goodness, and then let the pot sit with the bags in it for 10 minutes. Perfect.

FAVORITE TEA EVER!!! This tea has an amazing vanilla flavor with depth. I've tried every vanilla flavored tea I could get my hands on, but nothing compares to this one. I do wish it were less expensive, but compared to the price of teas by other big names, it isn't excessive. And since it really is THE BEST, I'll continue to buy it. Try it, you won't regret it!!!

Bagaholic : NO flavor
I finished the AHMAD TEA (Earl Gray) which used to have a lot better flavor, but this time was a disappointment, so I thought to give BIGLOW a try from reading the review. MORE disappointment! BIGLOW has even less of the flavor, in fact, no flavor. This is just a simple black tea. That's all. I am regretting for ordering such a big box.
Dennis McMahon : Contents Not as Described in Writing
The product description states that the tea is "Individually Wrapped". The tea bags are wrapped four (4) tea bags in a foil pouch. Instead of being assured of freshness by being "individually wrapped" now I have to fold over the foil pouch and tape it shut in order to keep the flavored tea sealed in the foil pouch. Secondly, the amount of tea in each tea bag is less than the amount of tea in a tea bag when the tea bag is "individually wrapped" in a foil pouch.
eb : Superb blend of black leaf teas and citrus
My Nana introduced me to this tea in 1983. We would have afternoon tea at her dining room table on Sundays over a pot of Constant Comment, assorted pieces of English bone china, and her sugar cookies. Nana is 95 this year and every Sunday afternoon she has a cup of Constant Comment at her dining room table in Illinois and I have a cup at my dining room table in Texas. Beyond being an amazing balanced brew this is a tea that has helped bond grandmother and granddaughter, was the centerpiece of life lessons, and was on the table as my character was built. Thank you, Bigelow.

Not sure why certain negative reviews.. im guessing they got either expired boxes, or perhaps some kind of generic or fake. Who knows but in any to prove my review..i bought a regular box from the store (box of 20) and this box of 100..obviously you can't tell taste from my review but I compared side by side and they are identical in taste, packaging, etc. Except the store box of 20 cost me almost 5 dollars whereas this cost me under 15 for a box of 100. For me the choice was easy! This is just an awesome deal for a box of 100!

I’ve been drinking the Bigelow French vanilla for so many years, I LOVE it‼️ I had difficulty finding it at the grocery store about 3 yrs ago, was very happy Amazon has it.

I’m extremely happy with having the Amazon lockers for picking up my purchases. There has been a HUGE, out of control crime problem occurring regarding these fn package delivery thieves. It’s happening everywhere...it doesn’t matter where you live either, it’s just getting worse every day. Pretty much every single person I know has had this happen to them in the past year...not me though. What an excellent idea!!!! I have told so many people about the lockers, none of us have home deliveries anymore. Several people were even at home, sitting next to their front door when their deliveries were stolen but by the time the opened the door, GONE! Three different jerks even flipped off the ring doorbell cameras because they know the police are too busy .

T. Black : Super minty fresh with a nice black tea background, a favorite!
This is one of my all time favorite go to teas. This tea is now called Perfectly Mint but has been around for years and was formerly called Plantation Mint, in case you did not know there was a name change. It has a nice minty flavor with black tea in the background go you get a better caffiene kick than with a green tea. This is a tea that is good either hot or cold, I like it both ways. Because of the mint it has a natural sweetness but I do add some sugar and honey. It smells fantastic and comes in foil packaging for the individual tea bags so is always fresh.
