Directions

Fresh Brewed Method: To Prepare One Quart: Place one tea bag into a container. Pour one quart boiling water over tea bag and allow to steep 10-15 minutes. Squeeze and remove tea bag. Serve over ice. (Serving Suggestion: Add sweetener and lemon to taste). To Prepare One Gallon: Place four tea bags into a container. Pour one quart boiling water over the tea bags. Let steep 10-15 minutes. Squeeze and remove tea bags. Add 3 quarts cold water and stir well. Serve over ice. (Serving Suggestion: Add sweetener and lemon to taste). Iced Tea machine: Use one (1) tea bag for each quart of tea to be brewed. Tear tea bag and empty contents into the iced tea machine filter and follow the manufacturer's directions. The Elegant Soft Drink with Perfect Peach: Make iced tea as directed above. Remove tea bag and allow tea to cool. Combine equal parts of tea with Ginger Ale, or Lemon-Lime Soda in iced-filled glasses. Stir gently; garnish with lemon or lime as desired.

Does this have any actual tea in it? What's up with the chicory?

Answer: I've used the Peach & the Raspberry. Both are amazing! I can DEFINITELY taste the Peach/Raspberry in each one, not sure why people say there's no flavor?? Maybe they're using too much water??? I disagree strongly with that and also disagree that it tastes like a spiced tea - it tastes like a tea that you'd either brew or put out in a jar in the sun, but with Peach or Raspberry flavor! I've never noticed a spice flavor, although I do see spices listed as an ingredient on my current box. I love this tea!!

Answer: No, no actual tea. It's more of a traditional "spiced tea". I couldn't really taste the peach for all the spices. But definitely no tea.

Answer: The front of the box says 8 quart sized tea bags. That should be 8 quarts. Instructions on the back say pour boiling water over one tea bag and steep for 10 minutes and then add three cups of cold water. This should still be on quart per tea bag and 8 quarts per box, unless you prefer a weaker tea then you may get more per tea bag.

Answer: I have not seen instructions from the maker to brew the tea in cold water. I brew the tea in 2 cups of water that has been boiled & of the tea bags to make 64 ounces. I then add the juice of one lemon & two cups of grape juice to sweeten without using any sugar per se. This is my own recipe for what I think makes a delicious drink.

DaBrain-the-dude : Not as good as its name, bring back cold brewed peach

The Bigelow's peach Iced Tea was best as a cold brewed black tea. The flavor in this product is off, its either too weak and ok flavor, or just not good (more tea bags or longer steeping just makes flavor worse). I'm back to using peach perfection tea herbal tea bags for my iced tea. It would be great to have the bigelow's cold brewed peach back, that was a perfect iced tea.

I have been purchasing the Bigelow large tea bags that make 32 ounces of iced tea. This is very convenient & I actually use two bags to brew which then makes a half gallon of delicious tea. I put 48 ounces of chilled filtered water in a large glass conatiner. I then brew the two large tea bags in 16 ounces of water for ten minutes, squeeze the tea bags dry with two tablespoons, dissolve 1/3 cup of granulated sugar to the hot tea brew.
I then add the brew to the 48 ounces of cold water, squeeze a lemon & add the juice to the rest of the brew. I advise against placing the lemon peel into the brew as this will add a terrible bitterness to the brew. Anyway Bigelow has made a super product & has added a convenient innovation of the large iced tea bags.

I use to of the quart pkgs and 4 bags of Celestial Seasoning Raspberry Zinger. I add about a cup of sugar and 2 1/2 cups of Stevia. Lots of water to fill a pitcher, and not only I, but my guests love it. I always warn them it is very sweet, but they still say they want the recipe. Can't always find the boxes like this in stores, so online ordering insures I have plenty on hand.

We wanted something refreshing but not just plain decaf ice tea. This is wonderful tea. Tart without sugar but that is the way I like it. Really nice change. We added one cup of decaf black tea and it is good that way too, but it is even nice by itself. If you would like a nice change (without something that you find keeping you up at night), and a tart but wonderful flavor and color, this is the tea. My hubby puts sweetner in it and loves it too--and he does not usually drink tea, so that is saying something....

I bought this item in Overland Park, Kansas and was unable to find in Central New Jersey. So, went to Amazon and wala--it appeared, Thank goodness! The tea is totally Caffeine Free as it is Herbal. The best is the fact that it is Kosher as most Bigelow tea is. Nice taste and can actually get more than 2 quarts from one tea bag. If you drink alot of iced tea, be prepared to go through a box quickly--there are 4 bags/pouch and 2 pouches/box. The pack is comprised of 6 boxes in all equally 48 tea bags/pack.

As you can see I enjoy this tea; however, today instead of coming in a neatly wrapped box it came individually thrown into an Amazon box. Where is the quality control at this business? My other item, box of ICED Red Raspberry Tea came at least wrapped in plastic which was a better help. Please investigate as the item was NOT CHEAP!!!

I love, and in fact live on, the Bigelow Raspberry iced tea. That one is fantastic. The Green Tea w Pomegranate is awful. Amazon lists the ingredients in its product description. But, crucially, lists them in the wrong order. This tea taste smells exactly like the green jolly rancher candy. It is a weird artificial apple. Tastes awful. No pomegranate at all. Apple is the second listed ingredient, contrary to the amzn description. Stick w plain green tea, I guess.

This is a great tasting tea and I don't like tea. This has a great raspberry taste and is refreshing. I tried this first from a grocery store and then couldn't get it anymore and now I order from here for the same price and shipped to my door. Try this you will love it. Love this tea. Not a black tea drinker and rarely a green tea drinker. The pomegranate/apple flavor takes the edge off the tea flavor. Using this whenever I want a carbonated drink. It really helps. It is unsweetened and I do not sweeten it. Often I will use the quart tea bag in container chilled in the fridge. When I pour it I will fill glass halfway then use other chilled water to fill glass completely. Thus, you can use one tea bag for two days as long as you leave container in the fridge.

This is great on its own, and I'm not a huge tea drinker. I actually make a 5 cup mix using one of these tea pads, one small pad of mint and one small pad of green tea. 1/2- 1 cup of splenda (sugar) after you let the tea pads soak and remove them... it's fantastic!

I got these thinking I was getting Bigelow COLD BREW tea bags which I couldn't find anywhere but Walmart. I called Bigelow and found they are made just for Walmart and if Walmart no longer carries them Bigelow will stop making them. Go figure. So when I realized these were not cold brew I tried them and they just aren't as good as the cold brew ones. However, I decided to try to cold brew these bags and the tea actually tastes better than using hot water to steep them like the directions tell you. The tea has a less bitter taste. They're not as good as the actual cold brew bags but better than using the hot brew method. I've been drinking it now for several weeks. I take a 2 quart bottle and fill it with cold water drop in 2 bags and refrigerate. It takes longer, I leave mine in over night as opposed to the cold brew bags that brew in about 10 minutes. This is also the peach tea sold by Jack in the Box, which is where I first found it, and loved it. I don't know if they buy it from Walmart but that's where the guy from JitB told me to get it when I asked about it.

If you can taste the difference, it's painfully clear that it's hibiscus, despite the advertising. I expected raspberry tea to taste of raspberry, this doesn't, at all. Look at the last ingredient if you want raspberry, aka the least present element in the tea.
