What is the expiration date on these boxes ?????

Answer: The last box I ordered expires June of 2018 and if you have never had Barrys Tea it is hands down the best out there.

Answer: Not 100 percent sure but I would say 80. They come as two together and you separate them if you want to only use one.

Answer: Well, you are talking about 240 tea bags. I have never compared to PG-Tips, which I do like, for Barry's is my favorite tea.

Answer: I only ever make brewed tea so sorry, but I cannot help you. Don't even know what kobucha tea could be. But I do love Barry's tea and learned to love it in Ireland.

Is Barrys gold blend tea organic?

Answer: The company does not state that it is organic, but it does state: All of Barry's Teas are 100% natural - no additives, no artificial colourings, no preservatives, no funny business. I also agree 100% with Faber Mcmullen. Not just because me mother was born in Ireland.

Answer: I would be surprised if it is. We have been drinking this tea since 1981, when we bought our first boxes of it to bring back to US. It hasn't changed-best Irish tea there is! (although there are loyal Lyons tea drinkers as well) We started ordering online a few years ago, as it's so much easier than taking an extra suitcase over there for tea, and cheaper than mailing a case from Dublin.

Answer: I don't know and I could not care less. Most foods/beverages in Ireland are way more natural than anything processed in the USA, so it's probably as good as tea gets. It is absolutely the most delicious tea in the world. I first had it in Ireland many years ago. I've been back to Ireland perhaps a dozen times and Barry's is the standard tea of Ireland. It is golden. It is delicious. Try it and you'll never go back to the dark side. :)

Answer: There is no indication on the package that it is organic or certified organic but there is mention on the box that it is a "Fair Trade" product.

I've been Barry's tea drinker for years. I put it in a tea cup or in a tea pot and let it boil for few mintues. I never had tea bags break apart on me. This batch of tea bags I recently received are defective. I thought maybe I was boiling the tea pot too long but I also just let the tea bag sit in one cup and the same problem happened. Amazon doesn't allow return this batch of tea bags but maybe people should wait few months before more purchase. Maybe Barry's will solve the problem in few months. Unhappy customer. :-(

N.S.A! : Ripped off with no recourse!

Bad Product!!! Last year we bought 6 boxes that will expire on 1/2014. The tea developed a chemical taste 2 months ago, and we threw out 2.5 boxes. My wife drinks this stuff I am a coffee drinker. She is Irish and has drank tea all her life. So we said maybe it just did not make the dates and we bought another 6 boxes. They came, we opened one box and tried two cups it is worst than the ones we thew out!! I tasted it and, not bing a tea drinker, got a horriable taste. Now we find out that its not returnable we are out another 40 bucks and my poor wife can't enjoy the tea she loves. These boxes expire on 1/2015 so go figure. I will try to contact the seller and let them know our feelings. I gave it one star because I can't give it a BIG FAT ZERO!!

I can't live without this tea! A friend gave me some Barry's tea once - and then all other teas tasted like dishwater. The taste is rich and bold and if something can taste golden, this does. It is not the least bit bitter and you can re-use your tea bag, or use less bags per pot of tea because it is so flavorful. This is my everyday tea. I ordered 8 boxes so I will not run out!

It is a fine full body tea. We plan to be loyal consumers.
We first learn of Barry's while we toured Ireland for three weeks last fall. It was the best tea of all

I have loved Barry's Gold for some time and would only occasionally purchase a box for myself as a treat because it is very expensive when purchased by the box in the grocery store, if you are lucky enough to find it, or in a specialty shop. With this configuration, I am able to purchase six boxes for what amounts to roughly the cost of three or four in a retail store. That is at least a 40% savings and with free shipping it's a no-brainer. I find the freshness date is late enough that I do not worry about the tea going stale before I am able to drink the six boxes.

Barry's Gold makes a simple, rich, flavorful cup of tea that I find perfect in body and color. I have served Barry's Gold to a number of friends and co-workers who I would consider to be tea-snobs and they all comment favorably about it so it must be good!

I'm a lifelong tea drinker. I never acquired a taste for coffee, so my choice in tea has always been important. Over the years, I've settled on various English breakfast teas... the kind you can usually find in supermarkets like Twinings, etc.. They got me by, but I always searched for something better. I went on to Roberts tea, another very nice tea from Ireland which served me well until I discovered Barry's Gold Blend. Well, after that first cup, this tea drinker was won over for life. There is no better, so stop searching.

Tea drinkers get a raw deal. If we go out for breakfast or lunch, we're lucky to get a Lipton teabag and some warm water. Coffee drinkers of course get a freshly brewed pot and free refills. It annoys me that we have to settle in those scenarios. Well, lets not settle in our own homes. If tea is important to you, treat yourself to the best. Barry's Gold Blend is a very strong, rich tea with no bitterness. I never drank tea without milk before discovering Barry's... but I now find myself taking it black on occasion just to appreciate the true flavor.

Trust me, you will never go back to just regular tea after tasting Barry's.

The tea is an excellent blend that lends itself well drinking with and without milk. I've had other teas that were far too bitter to enjoy without either sugar or milk and on the flip side teas that were too weakly flavored to add anything to them.

I keep a box in my office at work for when I need a hot drink - much better than the Lipton they provide for free!
