Answer: Each box has 80 pyramid tea bags. The total is 320 tea bags. This is good, since we have a 1.5L teapot, and use 5 tea bags for each brewing. We are also 10 minute brewers for a strong "working man's tea". No dainty 2 or 3 minute teas! Real cream or half and half, and three sugars. Add some chocolate cream biscuits, no cress sarnies. Enjoy daily.

Answer: I don't believe it really "expires", but for the box that I ordered Aug 2015, it had a "Best if used by" date of Feb 2017.

Answer: I obviously varies. I ordered the 1.5 KG bag of PG Tips tea over 21 months ago and it states "best if used by Jan 2016". I ordered the teabags pictured at the same time and they state "best if used by July 2015". There is a bit of drop in flavor when selecting the tea bags but, for me, not significant. I do think the loose tea has a more interesting taste than tea bags but they are both delicious.

We are a family of tea drinkers and our daily cuppas are absolutely essential to the continued daily survival of the lives of our family members! Too strong? No, good hot tea can never be too strong or too sweet ... or so I believe. I was introduced to PG Tips 35 years ago while living in England, and it instantly became my favorite. I have had to make do with many others, due to a distinct lack of flavor in American hot tea products ... but always heave a sigh of relief as soon as I have a mug full of PG Tips. My favorite method? Sure. Big four mug pot, six tea bags, water at the boil as it goes into the pot, steep for ten minutes (not a minute less). Then pour the cups for the ladies first (get rid of the lighter tasting "top water"), then pour mugs for the gents from the belly of the beast. Prep the mugs before pouring in the tea. In our house the ladies get one and a half teaspoons of sugar; the gents get three and a half. Half and half enough to make it pretty. We prescribe two cups per person per morning ... minimum. Your needs may vary.

Kathleen Hamilton : This decaff tea is a completely different animal to the weak decaff we get in the US.

If you would like to drink decaff for health reasons, but you enjoy a hearty cup of tea, you will really enjoy PG Tips decaff. The correct way to prepare this type of tea (known as black tea, Ceylon tea or English breakfast tea) is to put the teabag in the cup first and then pour in still-bubbling boiling water. (If you are really particular, you can warm the cup first with some boiling water and then throw it out before putting in the tea bag.) Leave to stand, with a lid if you want to keep it as hot as possible, for between 2 and 5 minutes, depending on how strong you like it. This process is called brewing, mashing or steeping depending on which part of the UK you come from. After the brewing process, milk and sugar are added, but of course you can leave out the sugar. If you prefer lemon to milk, you may want to shorten the brewing process. My order was shipped from England so the shipping time is a bit longer than normal. I got a good price.

Delicious and satisfying, and better than Tetleys ;) I happen to like my tea like babies milk I guess, weak and milky... not to say this wouldn't brew a strong one if you give it steeping time - I just like to make my tea weak. I'd also rather avoid the caffeine because it generally makes me anxious. I'll keep ordering this as long as I'm able to drink tea... which for a Brit is somewhere around a lifetime.

Most decaf tea taste water if you use the regular amount, or too strong if you use more. PGTips is a good tea substitue, which I use about half the time, along with regular PG Tips. I used to buy much more expensive teas from all over the world, but they are too messy to use at my office, so these tea bags are the best I've found.

PG Tips decaf tea is the best tasting tea I have been able to find. My husband doesn't even realize it's decaf and he is super particular about his tea and coffee. It has a smooth, clean taste and wonderful aroma. I use it for hot and iced tea and the flavor holds true either way. I actually brew a pot of hot tea in my Brown Betty teapot using 3 tea bags and then after pouring that into ice water for iced tea, I can brew a couple of cups of hot tea with the same 3 bags again. I usually don't like tea bags because I can always taste the fiber taste of the bags, but these bags are not at all detectable in the flavor of the tea. For a proper cup or glass of tea, PG Tips is the best I've found. The aroma and taste make for a comforting cup of tea any time. I love this tea!

Amazon has the best price for this. Saves me from having to hunt it down in a regular grocery store. Far better tasting than the standard American Liptons and other such brands which are borderline drinkable. Also, PG is not a tea I would drink plain. There are far better tasting Asian teas for that purpose.

This is the Authentic British version of the tea. You can find these at times in local stores within the US but i've found that its a guessing game, if you get the round tea bags you've hit the 'fake' stuff. The original tea bags are a diamond shape and the tea is aromatic and superb. If you have not tried this tea yet, drop your cup and order now, you'll be very pleasantly surprised.
