Answer: No. Ginger root does not have lead in it.

Answer: i looked all over the box of ginger tea and I didnt see any ref to lead. I have been using it for a few years and I think my brain cell count and IQ are ok. its tasty tea.

Answer: This tea has ginger as the only spice. However, the ginger has an odd chemical flavor. Not recommended.

This is the best ginger tea on the market, in my opinion. I love a strong ginger cup of tea, especially when I have a stomach ache. Surprisingly, I think this tea works very well, even when I am feeling nauseous. I love this tea. I think the stronger the ginger flavor, the better! This tea certainly has that strong, spicy ginger flavor!

I did not like this tea at all. The taste was horrible even after adding sugar. The tea bag busted as soon as I tried to take it out of my cup. Threw the rest of the box out after my first experience.

I have had better, I usually use but was unable to get some... I saw this for prime and tried it out. It lacks the ginger hotness and kick that you get with the Alvita, and I dont feel the same relief from Nausea I get with the Alvita, but they are okay. Its okay, not great, but okay.

I love that it's 100% ginger - no additives, no extra flavors. It's hard to find straight ginger tea bags. Doesn't get 5 stars because the tea bags are flimsy and tend to disintegrate, though that doesn't matter if you don't mind having the ginger bits loose in the tea. I like to drink it steeped together with a black tea bag.

Pungent tea good for soothing IBS issues...great anti-inflammatory in general and rich source of salicylates and gingerols which act as mild blood thinners and pain killer. Has anti bacterial and anti fungal activity as well. Not to mention the pleasant warming effect ginger has on the body core temperature.

This is the best ginger root tea I have ever bought and drank! I am serious. It is pure ginger root with no other ingredients: no sugar, no sweetener, no other flavors, nothing. A very high quality tea. It is also caffeine free. I use ginger root tea for abdominal discomfort, particularly nausea, which I experience due to migraine headaches. It really does help! It also helps with bloating, mild stomach pains too. Ginger is also supposed to help inflammation. I will keep buying this brand so Amazon, keep this in stock!

I got this wonderful tea just about 30 minutes ago. I am now enjoying my first cup sweetened with raw honey. This is absolutely the BEST comfort tea I have ever had. I suffer from acid reflux and I have been using a ginger tea from the grocer shelf that is o.k. but it has other flavors in it.......no comparison with this tea. I am going to have to wait to see how well it works, but at any rate it is very comforting. I can feel that already. I have been looking for a tea like this for a long time. I purchased two boxes and now I wish I had gotten the bulk packages at a bargain price. I surely will be ordering more of this.

I really like the taste of this tea. I don't usually care for herb tea, but I do like the taste of the ginger tea. Most of the ginger teas have other herbs mixed with it. I don't like the taste of those. This tea is only ginger and it is ginger root too. I find it very soothing in the evening, after dinner. It has no caffeine and it is supposed to be good for the digestion. It is one of the only herb teas I really like. Also, I usually use bulk tea for my other teas because the tea bags are so weak, but these tea bags are good and strong. I like it particularly with a little honey in it. It's really good.

This tea smells like ginger root, but it does not taste like ginger tea made with fresh ginger root or made with other ginger products. The flavor reminds me of chemicals. Also the tea bags do not cost seven cents each as the listing indicates. Each tea bag cost forty cents and provides a weak cup of odd tasting tea, even if steeped for 15 minutes as the package suggests. I will buy Stash Ginger with Lemon in the future.

The only reason for the 3 stars is the tea bag itself. The tea is good, but the bags fall apart in the brewing process which leaves a bunch of ginger in the bottom of the cup. I might as well have used loose ginger :(
