Answer: I’m not sure, It I don’t think so. I’ve been using this product for about 20 years. I don’t drink coffee or use caffeine so I think I’d be aware if it had caffeine. Tastes good and works well for sore throat if you take it right a way..

Answer: They don't make a sugar free version. But you could try using dried Isatis Roots and make a sugar free version.

So if this is instant beverage, do I just pour each sachet in hot water?

Answer: Yes, Just pour into hot water. Let it steep for a minute. When sipping I don’t swallow immediately, just let it sit in my mouth for a few seconds since I often use for sore throats.

Answer: I just pour boiled water into a mug, then pour the contents of one packet into the mug and stir until dissolved. I do not add anything else as it is sweet as is.

This item is overpriced, I bought to help my sour throat, it doesn't do the job compared to the price. The similar products are much cheaper.

Great herbal product for warding away general illness. This version is not overly sweetened (other Ban Lan Gen products are extremely sweet) so it's a very light and refreshing drink for those who do not want to feel like they are just drinking syrup.

As others have said, it is a bit overpriced, but well worth it if you do not have an asian supermarket to go to. (or if you can't be bothered to look for this specific one).

It says low sugar, but it is sweeter then sweet tea you get at the store! You can also get these from Asian grocery story for about $2 less depending on where you are.
