What is ‘natural flavor’ in the list of ingredients?

Answer: The Manufacturer chose not to specify. My magic 8 ball says future uncertain

Is this green or red tea?

Answer: The package I purchased was Sencha Green Tea.

Answer: it is green, being mostly spearmint

Answer: it's a mix of both but it's supposedly caffeine free

Natural flavor? What does that even mean? If it is listed it is obviously in addition to the whole ingredients.

Answer: I cant help with deciphering the meaning. As you are probably aware “natural flavorings” is a loophole term usda / fda allows to add things to products without costing them their organic certification. It could be lemon flavor but preserved in a synthetic solvent - just as an example. Whatever was added but not specified in this product left a bad taste in our mouth. Plain ol mint from the same company is great. Only one ingredient in that one though

The flavors in this particular blend of Davidson's are too strong for my tastes; it almost feels like I'm sipping liquid candy without the sugar. To balance the flavors a bit (I think it is the cinnamon that is so overpowering), I've tried adding different teas and spices to the blend as it brews: a simple black tea, dried lavender, freshly grated ginger, lemon juice. So far adding lavender and a touch of lemon created the best balance for me. Not a bad tea; just not my favorite.

This, I think is a good tea. I just didn't read all the ingredients and the rose hips combined with spearmint results in a distinctive flavor combination that, for me, is rather jarring. Just not "my cup of tea." I would much prefer spearmint without the rose hips.

The tea is not bad, but it has too much "not mint" ingredients in it (as is clearly advertised in the product description). I tend to taste the other ingredients more than the mint so it does not truly feel like mint tea.
