Directions

Hot Tea: Steep one tea bag in a cup of boiling water for 4-6 minutes. Add milk and honey if desired.Iced Tea: Pour 2 cups of boiling water over 4 tea bags in a quart container. Let steep for 8-10 minutes. Add 2 cups of cold water. Add milk and honey if desired. Serve over ice.

Answer: Yes!

How many calories are in a cup? Is it decaffeinated?

Answer: Not decaf. If water is used basically none. I use milk

is there a caffeine free variety out there?

Does this have caffeine in it?

Answer: I’m out of this particular flavor, but all my other Good Earth teas clearly note on top of the box, on the front of the box, and on each individual tea bag if they are caffeine free.

Answer: I'm not sure. It depends on the details for the product. When I bought it, it was less than $2 for a box. Great deal even with sales tax.

I've tried two cups now and added a cinnamon stick to jazz it up some. But it's just okay. The sweet and spicy is definitely better. Bought that one at the grocery store and the awesome flavor made me try this. If someone has better tips for seasoning, I'd love to hear. But I'm surprised at how bland this is for chai.

Almost all teabagged chai is way too bland, but this one is full of flavor (and without adding sugar). It is definitely not for someone who wants the usual 'real thing', and its distinctive flavor may not appeal to everyone, but I do love it. I regularly bought the Good Earth "Vanilla Chai" years ago (before their new owners changed it to this dumb name & it disappeared from stores), but this "Sweet Chai..." is pretty similar. The ingredients as listed are all natural, and I don't think the taste is artificial at all. By contrast, every other brand of Vanilla Chai that I've tried has definitely tasted artificial, unpleasant, and way off. There's definitely room for improvement at Good Earth, but they still sell better affordable teas than their competition can manage.

I'm reviewing Sweet Chai of Mine. I'm a huge tea drinker but this one doesn't cut it. It tastes kind of artificial and definitely not like chai. (The box says it's chai tea.)
You can skip this one.
Buy Good Earth's original Sweet and Spicy tea instead.

I add a little Coffee-mate Vanilla Chai and sugar to it and it is scrumpdillicious! Make your tea strong, because this creamer is weak on the spices. You can still get a tasty drink out of it though. This was a good solution for me to use up this wimpy creamer.

You can also combine the other chai flavor, which has more chickory and cardamon, and add Carnation mini marshmellow, hazelnut syrup and 2 caramels. It's yummy.

Definitely one of the weakest teas I’ve had. I even used two bags to brew a cup and it was only slightly better. It smells nice but you don’t get any spicy notes that I think should be present in chai tea. Homes it ruined my curiosity to try other flavors...
