Darren : Green tea flavor is a bit weak and there was a gritty substance in the box

I have been searching for an organic Genmaicha that I would enjoy. This tea is a bit weak on the green tea flavor and is a little on the expensive side.
The box came wrapped in plastic and when I removed the plastic I noticed a gritty substance. This substance was on the tea packets (it was not noticeable to the naked eye so I shook some out from the box and put it on an individual tea packet and took a picture). It looks like matcha but not quite as bright green. I suspect that it's from the green tea in the tea bags since the bags do not appear to be sealed. I suspect that since the packets are not sealed perhaps some of the green tea flavor is lost.
It's not bad but I will continue my search for a Genmaicha that satisfies my pallet.

The product was not sealed in original packaging. The seller seems to think that selling an opened product is acceptable but it is NOT. I’ve asked for a refund but the seller insists that it’s okay for me to use a compromised product.
