An excellent tea if your into a strong full bodied tea like Irish Breakfast. If your a dip a popular tea bag in the hot water once and remove person this probably isn't for you. It definitely has character and will get you up and going. This tea does leave powdered leaves in your cup or pot. This is a side effect of the way the tea is processed. I have no problem with this. I like this tea so much that I am putting some into tea bags to take with me on a trip.

This is a fine tea if you are looking for a strong Irish or English breakfast tea. The tea itself is very uniform in appearance. It looks more like pellets than tea leaves. I may be spoiled by Arbor Teas, a company that offers a line of fair trade and organic teas in a wide variety. They carry white, green, darjeeling, black, herbal any probably anything I left out! I received this Campbell's as a gift and it is a huge amount for the price. If you ar looking for a great value in a strong black tea look no further. Sloppily packed - when received the loose tea was all over inside the box as the lid was not secured nor was the plastic bag securely tied up... lousy packaging but the tea is great!!

This tea is quite strong, with a slight and pleasant bitter finish. "Irish breakfast tea" is classic and widely available in most grocery stores, but this is the real thing: packed in Dublin. This company has a long history of tea-making. Highly recommended.

I love Campbells Tea. It's a delicious every day tea. Strong enough to use milk with it if one wishes, but not bitter tasting. I often make my tea very strong so I can use milk, and no matter how strong I've made it, it's not been bitter. And it goes a long way, because it is strong you don't have to use as much. My friend from England uses this tea all the time and considers it a major staple in her household. She wouldn't be without it, and now neither would I. Also it comes in a very nice tin that keeps it fresh.

Excellent tea, full-bodied and strong. And excellently packaged, to boot. Keeps the product fresh and fragrant.

Some have mentioned the way the tea is cut, i.e., it is not as "leafy" as most others. For what it's worth, I find that this form of tea makes cleaning the basket the tea is steeped in far easier than the leafy sort. YMMV, of course.

This is my favorite loose tea! I make a pot of it in the morning to drink hot with milk and then I re-steep it, put it in the fridge, and have it later as a low-caffeine iced tea in the afternoon. I would recommend steeping it in a fine-grained mesh tea-holder because otherwise some of the finer powder will slip through the ones with the holes in it.
