I like this Tea a lot. Maybe it isn't as strong as other Lapsang but I would not have noticed if I didn't read that in another review. I have purchased 4 pounds over the last 6 months and have never had "a bunch of powder" at bottom like some other reviews. I think this is a good deal for some solid Lapsang.

I received this tea in the mail in great condition without a bunch of excess packaging. It is a loose leaf tea, which I like. The tea tastes great, my kids even like this smoky flavored tea. If you've ever wondered what bacon would taste like as a tea, this is it! I like it straight with nothing added, but I can imagine a nice heavy cream would taste nice in it too!

I usually love the quality of Frontier products, but this tea is terrible. NO FLAVOR. I have to put twice the normal amount of tea leaves in, and even then the flavor is off. Other than splurging at David's Tea and Teavana, I've had the best luck with Stash's Lapsong Souchong, believe it or not.

This is a fantastic tea...nice large whole leaves and very little shake. It smells fantastic when you open the bag and the taste is a nice balanced smoke. I mix Lapsong Souchong with my Earl Grey and drink copious amounts. I have been looking for an organic LS and it is very hard to find...and then afford. Thanks Frontier for making me so happy.

A Pound of Tea is a lot of tea! I made a small slit, filled my canister, and re-sealed with packing tape - hope that will keep it almost as fresh as vacuum-sealed.

The tea itself is veritable Lapsang Souchong, though the flavor is biased slightly toward burning tires rather than beef jerky. That's not a bad thing - the idea of "smoked" is very much in evidence.
