Is there caffeine in this tea?

Answer: Hello! While reviewing the product label for the white tea, we found that it does naturally contain caffeine. A typical cup of white tea has about 10-20 mg of caffeine, and a cup of coffee ranges from 100-180 mg.

Answer: There is also considerably less caffeine in white tea (15-20mg per serving, compared to green tea at 20-30mg, black tea at 50-80mg, and coffee at 100-200mg)

Answer: I drink coffee/tea regularly and it seems more than 20mg to me... I also feel More relaxed than normal (weird combo). The problem is that white tea is 10-20 they say but it could be more or less depending on lots of factors (steeping time, what exact leaves they use)

Answer: They grow the leaves in the ideal climate and then put the product together for USA consumption. Then the FDA rules for Organic labeling and standards are met. I too am concerned about China, counterfeiting and the theft of intellectual property. However we do not have the soils or climate to grow this. An aside, the founders of one of the finest estate gardens in the USA, Longwood Gardens long ago in founding, experimented heavily to attempt to grow those magnificent redwoods of California in Pennsylvania. No matter what they did, nothing worked. To get tea like this, you have to go to China.

White tea is actually green tea, but even better. It is much more mild in taste, but contains THREE TIMES the amount of antioxidants than it's green cousin. The reason its called "white" is because it is unfermented, which gives it a much smoother body. Unlike it's green brother, you literally can't make this tea too strong because of it's extremely mild character. This stuff has so many health benefits, that if I listed them all here, I could fill the Yellow Pages. But one of the most interesting benefits for me was for my dental issues. I used to get a lot of gum bleeding when I went for my annual check-up, but my dentist told me that this tea cut down my bleeding problem by 90%. The change was so dramatic that it really surprised him... and me!!!

I'm a 40-something-aged coffee drinker who has never liked tea, not even iced tea. I heard about the health benefits of white tea so I bought this product, hoping to finally add tea into my already healthy lifestyle. I like this tea enough that I'm drinking 1, sometimes 2 cups a day, and I don't add anything to the tea. No sugar, honey, lemon, etc. Again, I have NEVER liked tea, so for me to like this product, that's a good endorsement! I went ahead and purchased the 100 quantity box for the better value. I can't say whether it tastes amazing or something (since I don't really like tea, I'm not a qualified tea judge) so my 5 stars aren't necessarily for the flavor. I rated 5 stars because I have noticed a boost in my energy, more than what coffee does for me. Plus when I opened the box, the packets were enclosed in a zip bag (I appreciated that for added freshness) and there was a slip of paper, like a fortune you find in a cookie, with Chinese print and a line that read: "Inspector: Huang Bao Xun" which I thought was cute -- the inspector has name, not just a number. It's like I want to thank Huang for inspecting my tea packets.

Expat Family : Wonderful Tea at a Great Price- I was getting Bored of Green tea Every Day!

Recently, I have tried to get away from coffee and eat better. Tea has lots of health benefits and I have been drinking Green Tea for several months. I just started getting bored and I knew that I didn't like normal black tea.

Thus, I thought I would give White Tea a try. The taste is far smoother and subtler that Black or even Green Tea. Very pleasant. Although very low in caffeine, I get a big energy boost a little after drinking Prince of Peace Organic White Tea. I have replaced my normal morning Green Tea with White Tea, but I still enjoy Green Tea in the afternoon.

Best tasting white tea I was able to find in tea bags so far. Very mild but full flavor, no tartness or aftertaste unless you overbrew or burn it (make sure not to brew over 190˚F. Price is weirdly low.

This is my first experience with white tea so I'm not sure how to compare it. I had just started drinking green tea and read some where that quality makes a difference. I tried an organic green tea that cost more and found it to be true. The taste was much better. Then I also read that white tea has even more of the good stuff in it than the green tea.
So I tried the organic white tea. I expected it to be even lighter and milder than the green tea, but its not. The color brews darker than green tea and taste about the same to me. This white tea seems very good and is working great for me on the intermittent fasting diet that my family doctor suggested. During the 16 hours every day that you fast you can only drink water or green tea. ( Nothing added) He told me to have at least 2-3 cups of green tea and now I use the white tea also. I only eat during an 8 hour day time period. Its working for me. Over all I like this white tea, but it is the only one I have tried.

I'm not naturally drawn to any tea, but for health reasons I've been trying to pick it up for years, mostly trying green teas. I never could make a habit of it until I found a small box of this locally. In the past 5 months, I've averaged 4 cups a day and have officially developed a positive habit. I'm still not in love with the taste, though I find white tea easier to stomach than some green teas that were grassier, but I do enjoy the experience of drinking white tea and I enjoy its effects. Rather than a caffeine buzz, teas have a balance of caffeine and l-theanine that provide mental clarity and aid focus, the balance in white tea is just right for me.

POP white tea brews darker than a more costly white tea I was given, and I do suspect that darker color means lower quality, but the price is right. The bags also brew more cups than an equivalent bag of black tea, furthering the value. I have no trouble getting 6 large cups of tea from a single bag, and arguably, the second cup is better than the first. I'm on my second box of 100, and have recently discovered another listing of the same tea here that offers subscribe and save, I'm likely to buy much more in the future. How many good habits are this affordable?

This is my favorite brand of white tea. I tried Uncle Lees white tea but the flavor is not as good in my opinion as Prince of Peace (POP). The Uncle Lees brand doesn't have as much tea per bag either as POP does. I had to use less water in my cup with Uncle Lees. I will stay with POP for the good taste.
