This stuff must be an ANCIENT CHINESE SECRET, because it's awesome. Whenever I'm sick and my throat is sore, I drink it. It tastes a little gross to me, but then again I don't really like dates. I doubt it actually heals you at all, but it sure as hell makes my throat feel better, it's like the pain immediately goes away.

Too sweet!! I tried canceling this order before delivery but Amazon stated it couldn’t be cancelled and to return after delivery. Unfortunately I couldn’t return this item due to seller policy. I should have read all the reviews carefully even with the high star rating. This is more like a bag full of sugar rather than the Dong Quai and red date that I was hoping for. 14g of added sugar to be exact. I tried adding more water to dilute the sweetness but even with 24 oz of water it was way to sweet. I regret purchasing 2 boxes.
